So.. Since 60 is the new 40, does mean that 59 is the new 39?

And when I turn 40 next summer, just exactly what will I be?

don't expect an answer!

And by coming first, that means - well, if you have any trouble with the poll results, speak to Mr. Gallup.  he's on top of this particular entry.

If 60 is the new forty will Sophie Tucker's song be changed to nobody loves a fairy when she's 60?

Miss Rose Portillo

I recognized the name right away!
Her first film role was in the Exorcist II, where she had a spectacular firey demise. She played a possessed woman who Father Richard Burton tries to exorcise in the midst of a church filled with candles. She knocks them over and her chiffon dress catches on fire and you can guess the rest.

Sorry for the small photo but that was all I could find but you can go here to see a bigger version of it. http://www.thefleshfarm.com/exorcist/exorcist2P.html
Click on the first picture of the top row and it will enlarge.

That was one of the nicest birthday parties I've ever been to. Adriana was the perfect hostess, not only seeing that the food flowed freely (and there was tons of delicious food---I hope perhaps Adriana will list the dishes because I didn't get to see the "menu") but mingling and making everyone feel welcome.

It was great to see Cason, and to meet Kevin Spirtas after spending so much time watching him on tape.
