It wet and cold and miserable---a great day to stay inside and get stuff done!

I just went out to buy xmas package labels at the nearby 5 and dime---it turns out they have wonderful stuff and I ended up getting a lot of xmas shopping done, especially for all the kids...

Yesterday, DBF recieved his hood at the NDSU Winter Commencement. They had a large telly screen showing the graduates on the stage. He looked nervous. The poor dear....

It has been a low-keyed day here in Johnston SC.  The big event of the day was going to the P-K Restaurant for lunch and having burgers and fries.

It started raining around 3 p.m. and hasn't let up yet.  It's also much, much cooler.

Yes, I think "winter" has caught up to me here on the east coast.

I wouldn't even mind "seeing" a little snow (that's a "little", mind you) just for fun.

Question: Does anyone have the link for a couple of sites that Ben mentioned a while ago for editing music?  I lost all of my links when I had the puter reformatted a couple of months ago. I believe one was called Audacity.

Well...if you mean the flight on Wednesday, then it went off without a hitch save a slight scheduling delay out of Cinicinnati that had me arriving in Columbia SC about 50 minutes later than we were supposed to arrive.

Friday, we made a trip north to Spartanburg SC to visit with a cousin, have a nice lunch and place flowers on several gravesites.  We stopped to shop on the way back (Bed, Bath & Beyond and CostCo).

But...the "trip" continues through December 26th.  Many new and exotic things are bound to happen between now and then.

I'll keep the forum updated as I recover from and reflect upon them.
