I, too, greatly enjoyed Kristin Chenoweth last night. She handled the busy staging like a pro, her voice was sure and steady, and the number held my attention.

If ENCHANTED comes in the mail today (looks doubtful at this point), I'll watch that today. If not, I'll finish with the audio commentary on DAN IN REAL LIFE and then begin on NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN. It doesn't come out until mid-March, but I might as well get to it now.

I have 2 favorite Hitchcock movies, NORTH BY NORTHWEST and the remake of THE MAN WHO KNEW TOO MUCH.

Maybe one of your DRs can help me (I bet BK will know this one): I remember an Alfred Hitchcock Presents probably from around 1963 that had the kid that played Dil (isn't he Connie Stevens' brother?) and it had something to do with a magic shop. I just remember how scared I was, and I seem to remember the magic shop disappears at the end when they go back to find it. Sound familiar to anyone?

Well, here's more of a stumper for you, and one I have been wondering about for years. I saw this when I was very young, I'm sure it wasn't a Twilight Zone, it may have been a One Step Beyond, or something similar, but it was about a guy who went to this electronic fortune teller thing. She was a robot sitting in a big chair. IIRC, she kept telling him he was going to die, and again IIRC, at the end he touches her and she short-circuits and he is electrocuted. Ring a bell with anyone?

Then there was another one that I thought was a Twilight Zone, but I don't think is, about an old bi-plane that people keep seeing flying around, and I remember very vividly there's a close-up and it's a skeleton flying the plane. Any takers on that one?

That exhausts my scary childhood television memories for the moment.

It's funny, because when I got the new TZ complete set, I was finally able to piece together a long-held scary memory. My parents took us to Las Vegas on the way to L.A. when I was very young once and I remember to this day they had tickets to see Steve & Eydie and my sisters were left in charge at the hotel and wanted to watch TZ. It was one of the hour-long episodes, and all I remembered was a bad car crash where a shaggy dog got killed. It turned out to be an episode with Ed Nelson about a "Brigadoon" type town with technology from the future.

Tonight I will record RAISIN IN THE SUN and MEDIUM. And the 2nd episode of DAMAGES also airs tonight.

Btw, for those who watch DEXTER, I saw the 2nd episode on Saturday. and i am curious how much more blood and gore there is in the un-cut version. What they are showing on CBS is basically my limit (and i still don't like that much).

So i was just wondering how much more there is on the real version. And also is it only the gore scenes that are adjusted. Or is there other material too?

I am hoping this is released on DVD. I have an OTA antenna and ABC comes in fairly snowy making it useless to tape it. However, there are the rare days it does come in fairly clear.
