The second OLD CHRISTINE episode was less funny but more poignant. New Christine and Richard have bought a dream home, and of course it ended up being the house Old Christine had always wanted for her dream home. It drives her batty to see her ex-husband and his new girl friend luxuriating in her favorite house of all time.

Still, some good sight gags as Christine tries to turn her current house into a dream home with disastrous results.

If I'm remembering correctly, the Denver airport is very "connection" friendly - each of the terminals are exclusive to one airline - so you may just be going from gate to gate within the same terminal. So, it might be doable. However, you should go ahead and check to see what the next flight is out of Denver to Memphis, just to make sure you have that option. And if you really don't feel like rushing, then just call the airline directly, and book the later connecting flight.

With literally nothing else worth my time when these aired, I watched them both. The first was amusing. The second...UGH.

It's a strain for me to enjoy a show in which the main character is ALWAYS fortune's fool. As much as I loved "Frasier", I could always tell which episodes to avoid because the writers would set up Frasier and/or Niles as a major twit just waiting to be humiliated. I am never amused at this type of characterization. That second episode was only marginally better than any episode of "Joey", which is to say....Not For Me!

Then I watched BEE MOVIE. It's mildly pleasant, mildly witty, but with this killer comic cast, it should have been much funnier. And the animation isn't the knockout detailed animation that the Pixar guys do either. It seems to have been done on the cheap compared to the Pixar projects.

Jerry Seinfeld, Renee Zellweger, Chris Rock, Kathy Bates, John Goodman, Patrick Warburton, Oprah Winfrey, Ray Liotta (his cameos are the funniest things in the movie, probably because he's not TRYING to be funny playing anything but himself), Matthew Broderick, Megan Mullally, Sting (of course someone with THAT name would HAVE to be in BEE MOVIE).

The 2-disc set is loaded with bonus stuff, and I watched everything on disc one (and will listen to the commentary track tonight instead of doing EASTERN PROMISES tonight). I enjoyed seeing the cast recording their lines.

Unlike the Disney method which doesn't let people record together, Jerry often recorded scenes with Matthew Broderick, Chris Rock, Renee Zellweger, or Patrick Warburton in the studio with him where they would ad-lib, a lot of which they claim ended up in the movie. If it did because they thought it was so funny, the script must have REALLY been a dog.

Gasoline prices are surely going to increase some more - the advent of the summer reformulation requirements (government mandated) always adds to the cost/price.

The increase use of ethanol (government mandated) will add to the cost/price.

Higher prices at the well-head will always be reflected in higher prices at the pump.

Be thankful if gasoline stays under $4.00 by Labor Day.

And remember, many activists (me included) would like to see the Federal Government slap an additional $1.00/gallon tax on gasoline to act as a prod toward reducing fossile fuel consumption as part of an overall energy program.
