Hmm...

Some friends want to fix me up on a blind date... And it turns out the person they want to fix me up with is a restauranteur... Who happens to manage two pretty nice restaurants here in NYC... Hmmm...

LOL-Sounds perfect for you.

Does this really surprise you??  The restauranteur part, I mean.

Now, George, don't encourage him.  He'll start using names next time and then we'll all be he'll get himself into trouble!

:o I didn't think about that!

Some Border’s have treats from the Cheesecake Factory!  I want to know which ones.  I do not like the Starbuck’s baked goods at all.

I see that CANTERBURY'S LAW didn't get great ratings last night. Not dismal, but not great. NEW AMSTERDAM did better at 9 finishing third in the time slot.

I have to write for a bit now.

Then downstairs to clean the living room (didn't get to it earlier due to so much mail to go through) and then settle in for tonight's viewing.

Keith watched her clomping around in those high heals and wanted to turn the show off.  I had to agree it wasn't a very good opening & he wasn't feeling well.

Cilla do women lawyers really wear 4 inch heels during a trial?  Keith didn't believe it. ;D

That is Allen who often makes deliveries at our house, not as often as in the past.

So...

What the frell does Gov. Spitzer's inevitable resignation have to do with the inevitable criminal charges against him?  The news people are positioning his resignation as a bargaining chip in the upcoming legal dealings. ????

Nothing is inevitable! It wouldn't be the first time an elected offical used an offer to quietly resign as a bargaining chip to avoid criminal prosecution (or at least reduce the charges).

Spitzer could opt to make NY go through a long, costly, messy impeachment process if he so chooses.

Mayhaps he is.....but mayhaps he ain't.

Now...what's got me confused is the "DB"...is that "Dear Brother" or "Dear Boy friend"?

Or is the latter DBF?

If that's the case, then you should take two heaping tablespoons full of Castor Oil and put yourself to bed (but within dashing distance of the "euphemism").

Listening to a marvelously marvelous Johnny Mandel compilation I put together on a homegrown CD - The Sailor Who Fell From Grace From The Sea, Agatha, and Author! Author! (his discarded score).

I hate it when things like that happen.  My TV sound is sometimes so real that I jump up to answer the phone only to learn it's a phone ringing on the TV show (or movie) that I'm watching.

This also applies to knocks at a door.

Thus far, however, I've managed to avoid "low humming" and wondering if it's happening to me.

 ;)

I love it when the doorbell rings on TV and my brother's dogs run to the door barking

I'm also really hungry, but won't be eating until around five-fifteen when we get out to Anaheim.  I'm awaiting the arrival of Mr. Rothman - he arrived an hour ahead of time yesterday.
