DR JMK - your envelope arrived today.  It looks DEE-lightful, and we can't wait to try it out.

Thank you, thank you!!!  :)

Well, if you think the envellope's good, try opening it and reading through the music.   ;D

Yes, I remember reading about the religious right decrying the film. So absolutely stupid to protest this movie. Nothing at all antireligious about it.

What would these groups do if they didn't have these things to villify and get their followers all up in arms about something or other.

The Kritzer CD has been done for six months - I just can't get the guy to do the cover art and press them.  I'll write him again.

Well, if David Cook goes home, Simon will be shell-shocked!

der Brucer

I'd pay to see that!

I truly didn't enjoy his "performance" last night at all.  But for those who did, I'm certain his numbers will maintain his safety.

I'd be more interested in seeing Brooke and Jason in the bottom three.

Now I must write for a little while, and then I'll head back down to continue with the set's bonus disc.

Were you also agape and agog?

I might have been.  I cannot recall because I was overcome by DEE-light.

Oh, I shall.

And since it's addressed by your own hand, someday I shall auction it off on eBay and retire on the interest from the proceeds.

I'm still mad about what "they" did to "The Last Temptation of Christ", as thoughtful a film as any I've seen.

I argued loudly about that film with many folks who damned it without ever seeing it.

"The Last Temptation of Christ"

I remember that!  Was that one of the first examples of demonstrations of this ilk?

The elderly lady with whom I attended said to one of the picketers:
"And I'd like to invite you to come to MY church, anytime!"   :)

I don't follow....

Well, DR JRand57 uses that construction, or ones like it, quite frequently.

Sort of has a folksy charm, doncha think?   :)

If you ever do it live and get a recording, email me an MP3 and I will post it on my site with appropriate credit.  :)

I said I was shocked/stunned/surprised and you asked if was also agape and agog.  I said I might have been but could not remember because I was so overcome by DEE-light.

And then you said you were offering a tribute to JRand....and I'm trying to figure out in what way was your comment to me a tribute to JRand....and whether or not I would ever get a clue to what you are referring.

Shortly I shall be wending my way to the Heim of Ana, a meal and a rehearsal.  And just in time, too - I'm really hungry for some reason, although I do start on my new regime today of more reasonable meals.  I did get two count them two packages today, so that was good.

BK - if you have a problem figuring out the postage machine; just grab any neighborhood kid around age ten and they will have it up and running immediately.

It wasn't on The Island Where Lost Letters Go?

It's probably in the envelope you received today.

Is that actually Zack's costume in A CHORUS LINE?  I don't remember any Zack looking like that!
