I began my afternoon with another PSYCH episode. This was the one where Shawn and Gus helped Lasseter regain some confidence in his ability by helping to solve a case of a murdered astronomer. Richard Kind was the prinicipal guest star.

I spent the rest of the afternoon by watching all eight episodes of THE BIG GAY SKETCH SHOW, Season 2.

They added two male cast members for this season: the drop dead gorgeous Paolo Andino and the hilarious Colman Domingo. Each of them brought brand new hilarious characters that amounted to highlights of the entire season, and I'm sure we'll see more of them in the seasons to come.

All four of the women from season 1 were back, all as wonderful as ever and also two of the men from the first season continued as well.

Nice to see recurring characters Stritchy (hilarious parody of Elaine Stritch), Fitzwilliam (little British boy who wants a vigina in the worst way), Svetlana (gymnast and former KGB hitwoman).

There is a second disc of bonus features that I'll be watching tonight before DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES at 9.

No, I am reading no blogs, just reading between the lines of what I thought were some sparks between them. But I'm certainly no expert in heterosexual romance, even of the fictional TV variety.

I fear that when it comes to licentious innuendo, DR Jane is still on the turnip truck. :D

We are home from church and our first-ever visit to an IKEA store.  We ate lunch in the cafe and then began the grand tour.  It's so clever the way they've arranged it so you kind of have to see the whole place.  We were going to take one of the "shortcuts" to bail early, but realized that it would be too far to go back to it.  Rob and Mary Linda each bought a small item, but Richard and I bought nothing (well, I bought lunch...).

Most of my day has been spent doing house-related stuff.

A nap sounds very inviting.

And Marvelous Matt is just fine the way he is!
(But I haven't a clue how to operate the new dishwasher. I shall have to read the instruction booklet.)

And my allergies are HORRIBLE this year.

Good Evening!

Greetings from Party Central!

Alas, Emily, my niece and goddaughter - and the Birthday Girl - greeted me with a lot of kicking and screaming and crying.  She has settled down, and has given me a few besitos, but she still hasn't let me hold her.  Ah, well..

-And I can't believe how much noise 15 2-6-year-old kids can make.  Truly deafening at times.

What's opera, doc?

I forgot to mention that I watched the Met's production of Hansel & Gretl on PBS a few weeks ago.  It was okay, the guy who played the Witch wasn't very good - and the whole production made a complete FOOD mess of the stage....it was rather embarrassing to behold such a spectacle....at least on television.

I was looking at the Courts Show site....what does it mean when a star attends "through courtesy of" someone....do they pay for their lodging or what?

And Patty Duke AND Patty McCormick were in attendance.  I wonder if there was a Helen Keller smackdown?

AND in looking around on the net, I was surprised to find out that Mr Steve Franken is married with children....though some of his performances would indicate that he has wider interests.

IF I am watching a 16:9 enhanced DVD and using the 16:9 setting on my up convert DVD - is that why the picture fills up the screen on my HDTV and I don't have to look at the black widescreen bars?

DR TCB - DH Richard and DS Rob both ordered the Swedish meatballs and I got to taste them.  I just had an open-faced shrimp salad sandwich because I was leaving myself room for the almond cake (yum!).  We'd eat there again.

Swedish meatballs?  Dee-licious!

Wow I just saw Meat Loaf and his son on a commercial for A T & T...pretty funny.

Watching the BIG BROTHER finale....it's okay, but I don't like listening to Natalie and Matty flapping their yaps.

It is no use DR Jose, DR Jane and I have been trying to tell BK this for years now...and he pays us no mind.

I was tempted to comment again today & figured the same thing.  ;D

I still remember when I was about 7 years old and we were in a tornado at the lake.  Dad stood outside watching it across the lake. I ran outside from the basement with my Mrs. Beasley in hand to save him and saw it.  It's something you never forget.
