Reporting back from a nice luncheon with the attorney! I had Polish sausage, sauerkraut, beets and a salad, all quite wonderful, with a glass of wine. I've been playing at the computer with JoAnn, who's given my MySpace page a wonderful background and, when I'm back in Manhattan, she will help me do a slide show for the page.

DR Ginny, I hope I left a message on your phone!

BK, I meant to mention as well that I liked the new cover. I think that when sales start up on Kritzerland, I'll buy the first one as well and read them back to back, maybe front to front, too.

I'm here, BK, but my work internet just got real wonky.  Seems to be OK now.

You did, indeed, and I've been waiting for you to return from lunch (sounds like you went to The Meadows).  I'll call you soon.

DR Jeanne - sorry to hear that.  Real Estate agents, like contractors, can be a tricky thing.  ***VIBES*** that all will work out in the end!

It's nearly Memorial Day Weekend....a lot of folks are getting an early start.

That may "partially" explain why things here are so quiet.

Just got off the phone with DR Elmore.  We could have talked a lot longer, but I'm at work.  He's coming over for dinner on Sunday.

That is one faboo cover, BK...except, why is he hugging a woman??  If he's a hot pants homo, shouldn't he be shown hugging another man? ;)

Well, on the cover it does state that he takes on men AND women...

Brenda's kitty on THE CLOSER gets a little "face time" in today's dailies:

Watching the handlers, she seems like a very mellow kitty. And she gets lots of treats!

I spent all afternoon with the Logo series EXES AND OHS. It's a kind of THE L-WORD Lite in that it IS all about lesbians and their emotional and professional relationships, but, of course, they don't have Showtime money to shell out for big stars like Marlee Matlin, Cybill Shepherd, and Jennifer Beals.

The six episodes in the set were perfectly pleasant, OK little dramedies, but nothing outstanding. Of course, I'm sure lesbians, like gay men with QUEER AS FOLK, were delighted to have ANYTHING that portrayed facets of their lives, even if the drama was fairly predictable and the comedy was routine.

One of my favorite things about Kitty is how Brenda continues to refer to Kitty as a "he," even though "he's" given birth.

There are a good many bonus features on EXES AND OHS. I watched the six deleted scenes. The five leading actresses are each interviewed, and I'll be starting on those when I go back downstairs.

As of this season, she still does!

One of my favorite things is that kitty isn't cute at all---she kind of looks sort of mean and scraggly!

I had no idea 3rd Rock had such occasionally elaborate production numbers. And it was fun to see Randy Newman's cameo, too!

Oh, what a lovely day! Gray, windy, we just had a light sprinkle. I wish the skies would just open up and let it POUR.

elmore, I think you'll enjoy these two books, at least I hope so.  The reaction to the first was really nice, and I like the second one even better, in a way.

Weeds - Season 3? I don't believe I've heard of that show.

It's on Showtime with Mary-Louise Parker and Elizabeth Perkins. A suburban mom sells pot to help makes ends meet with the rising cost of things.
