I spy me a DR TCB.  But I'm afraid I'm too exhausted to stay up to find out how the lunch went today. :(

TOD:

I love, love, love (that is 3 loves) the Italian espionage films...India also made some really fun ones...below are my 3 top favorites.

Strange as it may seem, I believe I actually saw this movie - in a theater!

The lunch was wonderful.  Fred and Skip are real treasures.  Sadly, I am not doing well.  The most severe case of MRSA that I have had yet.

DR TCB - I'm so glad you were able to meet Fred and Skip today.  And I really do hope that your MRSA does not keep you from attending The Last Starfighter, or from doing anything else.

I was lucky.  The numbing agent didn't wear off until we were eating.  He gave me quite a bit, because he had to lance my whole armpit.

Oh :(

You must have needed a number of shots to numb such a large area-those hurt too.  Poor baby!

To be honest, a lot of names were brought up during lunch; and all of the talk was very nice.  In fact, we were being so damn nice; you would have sworn we were auditioning for a remake of Polyanna.

I am sure that Fred and Skip would appreciate a few vibes sent their way.  While we were at lunch, Skip received a phone call from the director of STARFIGHTER informing him that their leading man's (he plays Alex) father had suffered a stroke.  Hopefully, everything will work itself out, but the first performance is tomorrow night.

Well, I'm doing something new and exciting. I'm posting from a laptop in the living room.

Yes, we now have a laptop thanks to George W. Bush. I spent my enticement on a Dell Vostro and it came this afternoon. I set it up and it has a built in wireless card so I decided to see what would happen. Lo and behold there are a few (low power) unsecured networks in my neighborhood and I'm on the net!

Ant will be taking this with him to Wisconsin but he's not leaving until the end of July. Until then we will play with the new toy. Signals seem to be better in the living room than the bedroom and on the dining room table but not by the window. Weird. Oh, well, at least it works. Hoo and Ray!

It's past my bedtime. Night, folks.

Ben, I think you and Ant need to work on the signals in the bedroom.  They can be the key to a happy relationship.

Good evening. I got online earlier today and then got distracted so although I was signed in, I was no where near the computer.  Anyway, it's been a long week lots and lots of good things happening work wise and lots and lots of work on the murder case.   I took tonight off to watch UGLY BETTY and GREY'S ANATOMY.  I'm glad I did

I am very sleepy now.  I'm working tomorrow but have no appointments or court hearings, so I'll have a chance to go to the jail and catch up pn some other things that have falled through the cracks a little

As for HOUSE:

WOW!  We thought the two part season finale was fantastic.  DR Matt H-I agree with your comments, still-great episode.  We just sat there for a few minutes after it was over.  And then we watched BONES-big mistake.

Yes, HOUSE was an expert episode, but I watched it at the worst possible time after just watching BONES. (And CSI: MIAMI, which I watched after that, was a complete downer, too; so much so that I have given up on the series.)

Congrats to DR Samantha for going back, working very hard and graduating from high school.  She took a little time off for awhile but went back and finished with straight As.   You go girl!
