Proofing, organizing, and then just had two long telephonic calls.  I guess I can say that schedule-permitting, the role of Harry Schechter in the informai reading of Nudie Musical will be played by Mr. Patrick Cassidy.  I hope to have news about Rosie in the next day or so.

Yippee!  Congrats to both BK and Mr. Cassidy!

We have had a good day at World of Wisdom, but most of it was done in about 90 minutes.....not much in the way of commissions so far.

We had a deadly day at Borders today. . .

on the other hand, I am now officially certified as a barrista and may now work Seattle's Best Cafe and cash register at Borders.   ;)

30 minutes later there was knock on the door, and the guy presented me with a brand new mail-box!

That is very nice of him.

I'm very happy the dogs are home safe.  You did exactly what dog trainers say to do after capturing them-do something fun with them so they will willingly return next time. :)

Did you need a barrista license or were you covered with all your years in the food industry?

With Borders, not a license, but a certification.

Even when I worked La Prima Espresso Co., I didn't have to have a license. . .

I've been told a barrista license is needed in Oregon.  It seems so easy to get on-line, maybe it is just a certification.  Who certified you, Borders or the state?

Last DVDs we have attempted to watch

Into the Wild
Charlie Wilson's War

Our time would have been better used washing socks or cleaning the oven.

I went to see Young @ Heart today. I loved it.  I expected to laugh alot...I did not expect so many tears.  I thought it was a great documentary.  Here's the trailer and one of the more touching songs in the movie.

Oh, I'm already enjoying my 4-day weekend!  Richard and I ate pizza and then I baked brownies for us to take to a college graduation celebration picnic for one of Rob's friends tomorrow.  Rob and Andrew have been friends since they were in Grey Wolf's (Richard's) group at Tiger Cub day camp during the summer between first and second grades.

In my CD player:  I made a CD-R of songs from Kristina Från Duvemåla that are in the songbook.  I also added a bonus track, "You Have To Be There," sung by Alice Ripley from "Raw At Town Hall."  It's the English version of "Du Måste Finnas." :)

Do the dog trainers tell you that they figure it out real quick - and now deliberately run-away so they can be captured and get to do something fun!

The advantage of one dog, easy to focus more on the training.  All I have to do is walk the opposite direction, say ABOUT or LET'S GO.  Of course it helps if the dog can hear you.  Getting in front of a dog to give sign language can be difficult.

All is an exaggeration, I should say most of the time.  We also have an emergency call I really should practice.  He knows a quick response will provide a ton of treats.
