I have seen BK in MASH and an episode of Happy Days (when he was the gambler), but I think those the only tv shows I have seen.

The first time I saw a photo of BK I remembered him in Tabitha and Partridge Family and that I had seen him as a guest on other things. I watched a lot of TV when I was a kid.

Good Evening!

Over the past few hours, I did this...

Since I had been planning on seeing "Sex & The City" sometime this coming weekend, and since DR elmore had mentioned that he had purchased a ticket for the 10:00am showing this Friday, I went ahead and headed down to the 84th Street Lowe's and purchased a ticket for myself too!  See you there, DR elmore!  -And maybe we can have some Cosmos afterwards. ;)

*I was very surprised to see that this theatre still had "Matinee Pricing". At first I had thought I had hit the "Children's Ticket" button, but after double-checking, it turned out my ticket was indeed only $6.00!  -Rather than $11.00.  :)

Fantastic, DR Jose! I feel as if I haven't seen you in ages, so I look forward to it.

Yes, I am back in Manhattan. The trip was quite easy and on time. Thanks for all the vibes!

My least favorite Hoffman performance is his DEATH OF A SALESMAN.  Now granted, I only saw it on TV and not on Broadway, but it was so contrived.  You could see the wheels in his brain saying left hand slow tremor, shuffle feet left, right, left.  I could not find one true emotion anywhere in his Willy Loman.

I worked for Dustin on MERCHANT OF VENICE as a researcher, and he gave me a lovely gift. I like him personally very much.

In 1983 or 1984, I was filling in for the manager of the Minskoff rehearsal studios over Christmas vacation; Dustin and co. were rehearsing DEATH OF A SALESMAN there. Everyone was friendly except for John Malkovich. I was working on the Book-of-the-Month "Songs of New York" recording so every morning when Dustin came in, he saw me working on a full score of something or other. After two days, when he came in, he would say "Good morning, Mr Mozart (or Mr Schubert or Mr Strauss)," and I started yelling back to him "call me Wolfgang (or Franz or Johann)." The last day I worked at the studio was the birthday of one of the cast members and Dustin had them bring me a piece of birthday cake and plastic cup of wine.

One less for the memoirs . . .

I have the box set DVDs released thus far on The Partridge Family, The Doris Day Show, Tabitha, Laverne and Shirley, and Happy Days, and MASH - so I have all those.  I think I have all my Donny and Marie appearances on tape.  I have some others on tape, too, some 3/4 inch, some Beta, etc.

There are certain things that I'd love to have, like The Young Lawyers, Doctor's Hospital, Ghost Story, Beggarman Thief (only to see my scene with Jean Simmons - I've never seen the film at all), my Angie episode (my 3/4 inch is not viewable and wouldn't transfer).  And I'd love to have a copy of the George Kennedy pilot I did, wherein I played his son.

Cool...thanks for the info.

Welcome home, DR elmore!

-And I'm looking forward to seeing you on Friday morning too!  It has been a while since we've seen each other in person.  I just wonder how many other people will be getting up at that hour to catch the movie.  I just hope there won't be too many strollers there.

The chiropractor was simply amazing and magical.  He assessed, performed a few simple maneuvers, and...crack! crack! crack!  Everything was suddenly back in allignment.  Just incredible.

Currently the Vixter is studying for finals, rehearsing as Alice Kramden in a skit to be performed at a 50's night at her church group and rehearsing her part as a French night club singer in a murder mystery dinner theatre the youth of my church on putting on for the annual church women's dinner

What a full evening of viewing I've had, and I didn't turn the cable box on at all this evening.

I began with another NCIS episode from season one. It's strange watching the show without Ziva and McGee and Palmer. The gal who's second in billing is not very likable.

I watched five episodes of 7TH HEAVEN tonight. Now, I have never watched this show before. Were I not reviewing the box set, I would watch no more episodes of it ever again.

I like several members of the cast, but I dislike the way the episodes are arranged (all of the plots and subplot revolve around a single theme per episode: all about relationship woes, or sympathy for others or being teased) into this overly contrived way of telling stories. What's worse, the writing makes everyone sound like speechmakers rather than real people, and the children all talk much too maturely for believability.

Really am not liking the show at all.

I ended the evening watching another NCIS episode, this one about video games leading to a sailor's death. Engrossing, enjoyable episode. Nice to have something to stem that cloying writing from 7TH HEAVEN.

There are six discs in the 7TH HEAVEN set, and I'm only on disc two, so there is a LONG way to go.

And Barry Watson is also cute (now on SAMANTHA WHO?).

But not much recompense for the time invested.
