Has anybody heard anything about the new show on CBS tomorrow night? I think it's called SWINGTOWN. It was previewed in the local paper today. It's supposed to be raunchy (about swingers i guess).

Also, that new USA show (i think) IN PLAIN SIGHT (or something like that) will be starting here in 2 weeks. Did anybody watch it?

And MAD MEN is premiering here on sunday. Did anybody like that show? I'm not sure if it will be for me. But i heard it was quite good.

Be very careful, DR elmore3003!

To quote a certain cast album producer over at ATC, "You never know who's reading these posts."

;D

If I'm going to hang, I want to be first in line.

I'm glad I don't have an I-Pod. A friend says it will change my life. I doubt the hyperbole.

Like the cell phone has completely changed the lives of so many?

MAD MEN is a splendid series, very much worth watching (though I felt it went just a bit downhill in the last couple of episodes where I found myself losing interest).

SWINGTOWN is a burn-off series for CBS. They bought it and are burning off the episodes this summer with no intention of making any more. I'll be watching the horror anthology FEAR ITSELF tomorrow night which airs opposite SWINGTOWN.

Look for it in the last place you'd ever leave it.  My lost items almost always turn up in just such a place.

The problem is is that I can't even think of the last place I'd ever leave it.  I did find my box of blank/new checks, so if I have to start a new batch of them, well, I can always do that.  In the meantime, the search - and the mystery - continues.

Is it located right next to "The Mine Shaft"?

I just got the new bio of actress Coral Browne, who was truly what the French would call formidable.  She and gay companion Charles Gray (of Rocky Horror) were in the opening night of Peter Brook's production of Seneca's version of Oedipus with Sir John Gielgud and Irene Worth at the Old Vic. At the end of the play, a dixieland band played "Yes, We Have No Bananas" as a 15-foot tall golden phallus was brought onstage. While the audience sat stunned, Coral whispered to her friend loudly enough for everyone to hear, "Its no one we know."

For people like me who missed Season One, there is a marathon of all the episodes on July 20th prior to the Season Two premiere on July 27th.

ASK BK

Other than imdb.com & tv.com is there a collection or database where would one find information about credits for tv series like This Is The Life? Or see what an actor (or director, writer etc) has done?

ASK BK 2

There is a public domain dvd that has tv commcercials. Have your ever seen it? Any of your commercials (like the young Mr. Whipple) on it?

I certainly don't know any other sites, but have you tried googling this is the life?

I tend to stay away from PD DVDs, so I'm not sure.

Are this pathetic producer's initials "RS"?

That might just be a very good guess.
