Since I had a little less than an hour left, I put in the NCIS episode that CBS showed on Tuesday night from the season 4 box set. It was an enjoyable episode about the death of a Marine in a motel room. I remembered the murderer's identity once I got into the show, but I watched it anyway for the interplay between the agents. Really enjoy their camaraderie.

Then I skimmed through today's AS THE WORLD TURNS. No Luke or Noah and no sign of them in the previews either. Just as well as that story REALLY needs a rest and an injection of fresh blood. How about a new love interest for Luke that will make Noah come to his senses and realize what he's given up?

I think he should buy and wear the item I linked to in my previous post.

He'd be very distinctive, very noticeable, and he'd be making a serious fashion statement.

Ah... It's from Maltby & Shire's Closer Than Ever.  Miss Byrd is a real estate secretary who sometimes shows more than just the properties she's selling.  At least in her secret fantasy life.  ;)

In the original staging, the song was performed in a rolling desk chair.

I love that song!  I do have a question about the lyrics, if anyone knows.  What does "...floor through five..." mean?  I think that that's what the lyrics are. :-\

Writing done and done, and now I'll head down and find something fun to watch until PASSWORD comes on at 8. A full evening of viewing tonight.

Thursday, even in summer time, continues to be the only night with a crowded slate of shows I want to watch. Of course, once BURN NOTICE comes back, Thursday will be even more crowded. (I think AMC is moving MAD MEN to Sundays this summer.)

;)

Well, I have some sort of bad news, and some pretty good news...

The sort of bad news: I have to be up early on Sunday morning.  -Remember, anything before 10:30am is early for me.

The pretty good news: I have to get up early because I'll be going to the dress rehearsal for The Tonys!  :)

HOO and RAY!

*And since they run through all the production numbers, I'll be able to see exactly what doesn't make the broadcast - at least in regards to the Lifetime Achievement Award to Mr. Sondheim.  However... From what I recall, due to logistics - and union arrangements - there are usually no musical numbers during the pre-Broadcast portion of the show, so... ???

Congrats!!  That's so cool! :D

-And also remember that the pre-show will also be webcast on TonyAwards.com.

It's not the same. :P

What does "...floor through five..." mean?

DR George - the vocal score has "floor-through five" which I think means a 5 room "train" or "railroad" apartment, where the rooms connect to each other in a straight line, usually via a common hallway, sort of like train compartments.

DR Jose (or anybody else who watched). I just saw last night's SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE.

I'm curious who you liked.

I think you get a big advantage a) if you received a good edit in the audtion shows and b) if you get good choreography.

My favorite dances were katee and joshua (i think that is the name of the sweet black guy who cries). They did the napoleon and tabitha iraq war dance. Loved that.

And loved the mia michaels wedding dance.

I've never seen that first girl ever. So i feel like she will be B3 for sure (since she just did okay).

I am curious who the fan favorites are right now.

Interesting.  I'd never heard that phrase before.  Thanks for the info. :-*

It was indeed a noble thing that DR Cillaliz did last night!   :)

I wish I could donate blood, too.  But alas, the Red Cross will not accept mine.   :(

Nor mine.

I could not agree with you more. I continue to be horrified and mystified and greatly hurt by their treatment of gay people. It's ludicrous and totally unfair.

I'm happy and proud for people who can help, but I certainly feel like a second-class citizen whenever the subject of the Red Cross comes up.

It is not only the Red Cross.  Our publicly owned blood bank will not accept my blood, or that of any other person who confesses to being homosexual.  They would rather let a patient die from lack of donor blood, than to accept the blood of a gay male.
