-I will say I was surprised that the Play Revival was moved to the pre-show.

Well... I have a feeling I'm probably not going to post during the ceremony itself....

Can't you DRs on the West Coast move to the East Coast for Tony Day?

I will say I'd be surprised if In The Heights didn't sweep most of it - I've said before, its producer, Kevin McCollum, somehow manages to have all his shows take home major awards, for whatever reasons you'd like to imagine.

I'm not doing too well so far in my predictions.

For me, Stu's win for Best Book has been my only mis-prediction so far.

I guess everyone who said choreography was a Cry Baby shoo-in (and it was almost everyone) has been proven incorrect.

In the Heights is a good show. A very good show.

*And since you haven't seen the show yet, you're just imagining it now too.

Any good fashion faux pas?  I hear Idina's outfit had something weird about it.

Well, hopefully the West Coast DRs will chime in once the broadcast starts out there.

I'm not commenting on the worth or non-worth of In The Heights at all - I'm commenting on the "power" of its producer.  Anyone who denies or doesn't see this power doesn't really know the man or what he's about.

Well...  Part of his "power" is that he picks good shows to back.  *And, yes, I know some of the other part of his "power".

I find it so odd to give major awards like choreography and book of a musical and play revival on this pre-show.  How disrespectful can you get.  And I think we'll see the usual unnecessary palaver and non-nominated numbers that take up time that could have been used to present those two awards as part of the broadcast - it would take all of three minutes, you know.

Lindsay seems to be getting more time for her speech than some of the others got...although the orchestra IS finally cutting her off!

What other awards are they giving for the pre-show?
