I've been to a couple of High School reunions (They have been celebrations of the School's existence and nto for particular years).  I have no intention of going to any more.  I do get invitations to attend reunions at Schools where I have taught but I have been unable to attend. (I would consider going as I have fond memories of many of my students).

I would have kept in touch with my High School friends and my teaching colleagues if we had anything in common other than School.

What I really remember is every year when The Wizard of Oz was on my dad would make chocolate malts and grilled cheese sandwiches.  The only meal I ever remember him making, lol

OZ Derek would quite often text me to say he was keeping an appointment with Dr.Phibes!  It was the "leech" segment that did so much damage to my tolerance of blood tests. (I had one last Wednesday).

SLR Nikon D 40X

Two lenses. One is  VR!

(I of course have no idea what that means).

That's a great camera, DR Tomovoz!  I've had my eye on that one myself for the past year.

I see DR DIVAROBBIE!!

And I saw DR JEANNE on earlier, too!!

DR TOMovOZ were you part of the group of people who grabbed Mouseketeer Bobby's ears right off his head?  It cost him $50 to replace them, and it was taken out of his check!

Went to the 10 year h.s. reunion, and that was enough of those people for me, and vice versa, I am certain.

Watched a little bit of that DIVA CAMP or whatever was being talked about around here....but couldn't take more than a few minutes of it.

Hey, Fred, as Singdaw mentioned, we were up at the Riverdale YM-YWHA today seeing the loverly T-Punk as Mimi in Guys and Dolls. As we approached the building we saw this name attached to the facility:

The Fred & Anna Landau Building

Are these your parents? Did they give money to the Riverdale YMHA?

We had a great time at G&D. We got to catch up with Singdaw (David) which is always fun.

TP was excellent in the show, a real stand out in the chorus. She was funny and spot on in her many chorus creations and she got to dance. She had a real dance number with the other male dancer in the show and looked wonderful.

It took a subway and a bus to get there but it was worth it. If Antonia is in any more shows we will be sure to see them.

I went to my 10th Reunion but nothing after that. My 40th is coming up in 2011. I doubt I will make the trip.

It's getting late for me. I'm going to read (Anthony is watching Masterpiece Theatre Mystery) and drift off to sleep.

Here I am with two of my dearest friends, Laurie Mitchell and Kenny Miller.

As many of you know Laurie and Kenny both starred in ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE, my all time favorite movie. I have been friends with Laurie for a few years now but this was the first time I had met Kenny Miller in person (we had talked on the phone and e-mailed, previously). Kenny and I became fast friends and he will even be meeting me in Oregon later this summer when he drives from Seattle to Palm Springs via the Old Coast Hwy. I can't wait.

Here is Laurie beging visted by Brandon Raines. Brandon is the young actor I met while I was there and he will soon be heading to Hollywood to make a name for himself.

I must get in touch with DR Cason and see if he would be willing to show Brandon the ropes of tinseltown. I think Brandon and Cason would get along very nicely. Brandon already has a number of credits to his name includling WALK THE LINE, HAROLD AND KUMAR 2, and THE GREAT DEBATERS. Not bad for a local performer.

Laurie with her crush Gregg Palmer...Gregg was such a hoot! He starred in many, many films and guest starred on just about ever tv show around from the early 50s up through the 1980s.

This shot didn't turn out too good as I have not figured out all of the 50 million settings on this new camera (I sure wish I could find my old one...it was much simpler to use!).

This is during a question and answer session with some of the celebs. The gentleman in the middle is Boyd Magers, editor of the magazine WESTERN CLIPPINGS. He was the moderator for this session...and from left to right are: Laurie Mitchell, Claudia Barrett, Beverly Washburn, and Noel Neill.

A very unflattering shot of Kenny with his friends Bob and Amy who drove all the way down from Pittsburgh. Bob is a big vintage monster movie buff...he is also a very buff monster movie buff!  8)

Man was he gorgeous!
