Thank you to everyone who expressed their condolences yesterday.
I am still trying to figure out how to tell my brother---he adored my cousin.

??? I totally forgot to read yesterday's posts!

I'm very sorry to hear about your cousin, Edi. :(

Richard Martin Stern - author of The Tower, one of two novels (with The Glass Inferno) used as the basis for The Towering Inferno.

I read both of those books.  One was really good, and one was really poor.  I can't remember which was which.

Please, please, PLEASE do not argue with the parking attendant. She is more stubborn than you are, and she will not let you out free, no matter how NASTY you are to her.

That is all.

PULP FICTION was the first Quentin Tarantino movie I ever saw, and I was basically repulsed by it. I felt unclean upon leaving the theater. I've never watched it all the way through again, but I'd be up to it since I have since seen other films (and TV episodes) of his and am sort of used to his visual and literary style now.

Despite recommendations by DR TPunk to watch the two parts of KILL BILL, I never got around to it. However, I read that Disney is coming out with both parts on Blu-ray this fall, so it looks like I'll be watching it for the first time to review.

I wish you luck, Matt.  I made it thru the first half hour of KILL BILL and that was enough for me.

I still have to catch up on the posts from today, but it seems that the USPS has served me - and some DRs - very well.  -Now you know what I was dropping off at the post office on Saturday morning.  :)
