Okay, it's not Wednesday, but I have a question...and it's an actual reference question from an actual reference librarian who hasn't been able to find the answer for a patron.  Jay (the aforementioned actual reference librarian) knows that I know musicals and thought I might know where this lyric comes from, but I don't.  Anyway, what the patron remembers is:

"When you're in love, it's Grand Central Station."

or,

"It's Grand Central Station when you're in love."

Does this (or any variation of it) sound familiar to anyone??

Please let me know (if you know) and I'll pass on the information to Jay, the actual (and paid for it) reference librarian.

Thank you...you may now return to your regular HHW postings. ;D

I believe the correct line should be "When you are in love, it's Bellevue Psychiatric Hospital."  But perhaps that is merely a personal opinion.

One of the sad victims of the flooding. A 1928 Wurlitzer Organ from an historic theater in Cedar Rapids. The flood waters picked it up (it weighs 1000 pounds) and dropped it on the floor...

The story about it is here  http://www.desmoinesregister.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2008806220333

I don't think that that's it. ;)

I also told Jay that there is a musical called When You're In Love, the Whole World Is Jewish, but that's not it, either.

Good Evening, once again!

I'm back from dinner.  The sushi place turned out to a Japanese and Thai place, so I ended up having some Shrimp Tempura, Crab Roll (Japanese) and Ginger Pork (Thai).  -It was the restaurants "Winter" combination box.  Surprisingly good, and perfectly filling. :)

On a happier note...
 Cedar Rapids Aftermath

Trinity, a lost Weiner dog, gives kisses to her owners Oran Glade and Sue Jarvis of SW Cedar Rapids who have been searching tirelessly for the dog since June 16th. Trinity was found at the temporary animal shelter set up at Kirkwood College in Cedar Rapids Friday . Trinity received a microchip before going home. "From now on she's gonna be super-glued to me," said Jarvis.
