Now, I'm heading down to get cleaned up for lunch out with best friend John. We weren't able to manage it yesterday, so we're doing it today instead.

DR George:

I agree about last Friday's Doctor Who episode - great start for a two-parter!

I'd tell you who all is going to be involved with the season finale, but that would be a spoiler.  Let's just say that Russel T. Davies is ending his term as producer with a real bang!

I'm up, I'm up.  I slept pretty well last night.  I also had a very strange dream.  I was at some restaurant or place or something, and I ran into Stewart Granger, who looked older (he had hair dye covering his famous huge gray sideburns).  We sat and talked and I told him what was an endless version of the story of when I had to go to a chiropractor and he was coming out of the room on my first visit.  For some reason it took about an hour to tell a two-line story but he was very gracious and listened and we were like long lost buddies, and we agreed to stay in touch.  I went back to the people I was with, and when we were leaving I caught a glimpse of Stewart Granger walking down the street.  One of his legs was a peg leg, like Long John Silver, one of his legs was real, and he had a third prosthetic leg which was just sort of dragging along.  I wondered why I hadn't noticed that at the table during our chat.

Now, I wasn't thinking of Stewart Granger, I haven't seen Stewart Granger in a film in ages, I didn't watch Long John Silver recently, so what the HELL was I dreaming?

This morning I went for a walk. A very slow walk. One that involved sitting at times.

I can't decide if Stewart Granger's Third Leg or Stewart Granger's Prosthetic Leg will be the title of my next novel.

Wow, DearReaderLaura DR!  I'm impressed and thankful that you have photos to share with us, after that ordeal!

Here's hoping that the walks get quicker and less painful before too long!

I suppose I shall now do a couple of errands, after which I shall return for a while, then be on my way to lunch with Mr. Gordon Hunt.
