That would make me really peo'd!  Is that a word?  Anyhow, I would be upset too!

It's an acronym -- P.O.'d -- using the first letter of each word that the acronym represents.   8)

We're also waiving any local search-and-seizure laws/licensing requirements.

This is a "for special" just for Mike.

I'm unfamiliar with that last word.

But it's a nice homonymic stretch!

So DR JulieC40, you'll be seeing Avenue Q locally on Sunday, and then please remind us when you depart for NYC?

The retirement thingie was nice, and the cake was all right, too.  The office hosting the occasion is located next to us and we share facilities, including a kitchen.  There are now about 17 extra pieces of cake already on paper plates and waiting for eaters.

Ugh.

If there is then they need to come out here and visit us.  We could use some thunderstorms just so long as there's rain accompanying them.

P.O.'d - that does make more sense.

Singdaw, Yes, get to see Avenue Q on Sunday!  We are leaving for NY on July 21st which is a Monday, our flight is at 11:59 p.m. to will arrive in NY approximately 8'ish??  or so.  Then fly back on the 27th, Sunday, on a late flight that night as well.

I have absolutely no idea what to have for dinner tonight.

It needs to be something "lite", I fear.  And that rules out pizza, lasagna, left-over spaghetti sauce and Belgian waffles.

Maybe a "lite" piece of chocolate pie around 8 or 9 p.m.

What kind of cake was it?

A white sheet layer cake with strawberries and whipped cream between two layers, and a meringue-y sort of topping.

There was also a small cheesecake and carrot cake, both of which disappeared quickly.

Grocery store just down my street
I wish I knew what I'll be shopping for.

(Apologies to Meredith Willson).

Only four of us here at this time of the afternoon/evening?

Most unseemly.

See, I could have declined that kind of cake but anything chocolate I'm a sucker for.

Oh, TOD:  Sleep, maybe 24 hrs at the most and food, well, maybe 24 hrs at the most and the reason would be that I was sick.  If not sick, then maybe 8 hrs, when I'm sleeping! :)
