Thanks Jane. It's fine where I am.  Just don't want those who are truly struggling to be forgotten

Just want you to stay that way.

Speaking of weather, it is windy & a storm is coming.

I'm pleased you enjoyed your change of scenery DR Ginny.

Thanks, DR Tomovoz!  I think I'll try to spend a few hours each day in the family room, just because I can (with assistance...).

I should get off before we loose power-I'm drying clothes, washing dishes & drying my hair.  Not a good time if we do loose it.

I should break from the computer for a couple of days again anyway.

HEALTHY, HAPPY & GOOD JOB VIBES TO ALL!

Tom, if you want to see clip for Matt in some of his roles there are a few places where you can see his soap work and also on youtube.

DR DAKOTACELT - in answer to your question of a few days ago, Merlin the Magical Kat is doing very well - thanks.

And last night I saw commercial for something that had a Sherlock dog in it, front and center....

We have an ad for BCBS that airs here that has a Sherlock dog in it. I think of Jane everytime I see it.

Among the assorted lulus across the street from me today, is a young man who looks very much like MBarnum (only MBarnum is cuter).

TCB - True, it doesn't take a comedy team to come up with stuff that lame (a bad foot reference, to steal a joke from der Brucer)

Oddly, after a day of inactivity, my ankle hardly hurts at all.  I guess the plan is to keep the pain away even after doing a reasonable amount of walking.

Well... I would have sat in the jacuzzi/whirlpool for a while, but when I got down to the pool, I noticed that were a lot of suds in there - apparently, some kids poured some shampoo in it earlier in the day.  Ah, well... :-\

However, a couple members of my cast were down there, so I joined them for a bit of sparkling conversation.  After they headed back to their rooms, I went ahead and took a brief dip in the pool.  I would have "dipped" longer, but my left leg started to cramp up.  -I guess I should have stretched after my walk around Little Havana.  ???

I'm watching Food Network right now - fantastic cakes!

There are some wonderful programs on that channel

I like to watch the how of how snack foods are made and also the history of some of the different foods.

I also like Iron Chief America and some of the other cooking shows. I also like their website.

They're doing the Summer Shorts series again this August at 59E59, and although a lot of the details are still TBA (To Be Announced), the website shows they're including one of Skip's one-act musicals again this year.

It's a one-act Skip wrote with Terrence McNally; it's been seen in Skip's cabaret act and in a couple of benefit shows and even in some classroom presentations, but this will be its first run in a theater.

Well, if you go to Amazon you'll get the ratings on it. People who like really strong coffee are disappointed. I'm not that into really strong coffee.  You are supposed to use one coffee pod with each cup, a cup being 4 oz.  (that's not the math I learned, but that's the system).  I use one pod for 2 cups/mug setting (8 0z) and I like it, the instructions are to use 2 pods for 8 oz.   Today I used a Republic of Tea round tea bag and it worked well for 8oz.

I think the Senseo coffee pods are sort of expensive, I got 18 Folgers pods for $4.00 and some odd change. There are other brands making the pods now too. You can also get a permanent filter or make your own pods, so there are ways to do it less expensively.  I'll forward you the email offer if you like.  The shipping and handling was $15 and the unit I got was free and new.  I think you should be able to use the link from the same email, but I'm not sure.
