Well, I am sure that Chopsticks would be willing to do that for you.

Are you accusing me of being a loose woman?     ;)

Next, I watched a MURDER SHE WROTE episode with quite a few guest stars: Kate Mulgrew, Tony Roberts, Kevin McCarthy, and a young Marcia Cross!

I had never seen this episode and really enjoyed it. Also guessed the murderer's identity.

They opened the first Sephora (cosmetics store) here.

Can i just say I LOVE THIS STORE!

Okay everything is overpriced. But every single item has a sampler. And they only sell the highest end products.

I wish they would just empty the store for me and let me spend the night alone in there!

I LOVE Sephora. It's very hard for me to walk out of one without having made an impulse purchase.

Next, I put in CANNON, Season 1, Volume 1, disc 1. The set starts with the two hour pilot which must have run as a CBS Thursday night movie the season before CANNON joined the network as a regular series. Lots of guest stars in this episode too: Vera Miles, Earl Holliman, J.D. Cannon, Lynda Day, Ellen Corby, Laurence Pressman, Barry Sullivan, Keenan Wynn, John Fiedler.

Not the greatest mystery, kind of a muddle actually, but Cannon was such an interesting character, always making for of himself for being overweight. No wonder it was picked up as a series.

The condition of the print was poor with wildly fluctuating flesh tones (from purple to brown), soft, debris-filled. I hope the series episodes look a little better than this. HAWAII FIVE-O looked brand new compared to the condition of this pilot film.

Later this afternoon, I'm ushering for a tour of Whose Live Anyway?  This is the third (I think) time that the guys have come to Olympia and the place totally sells out!  And they're hysterical!  If you ever get a chance to see them, GO!! :D

Why are you ushering this afternoon, if the show doesn't start until 7:00?

Heading down now to clean my bathroom, put away the laundry which I've already sorted and folded, and then back to more with Cannon.

We ushers have to be there an hour and a half before the show starts, which is also a half hour before the lobby opens.  There's a lot of pre-show stuff that happens...okay, not really a lot, but they need to make sure that ushers get there and find parking.  Also, if someone doesn't show up, they have time to call someone else.

I can't watch any videos on mtv.com since i'm outside of the US.

But i decided to watch some of the LEGALLY BLONDE shows on youtube. Not as convenient (since they cannot show full episodes).

I'm midway through episode 2. And i'm enjoying it. I'm gathering that you guys are up to episode 4?

I do not get the weather here lately!! One minute it's warm happy sunshine, the next it's raining hard enough to make me consider building an ark.

When did you move to Oregon?

It was a story about how people are buying more boats this year, but they are just floating more than running the motor or some such nonsense. I just thought his grammar was atrocious.

Perhaps they are buying more boats because so much of the state was flooded!

Good Evening!

Well... The cast is as ready as they are going to be for tomorrow's presentation for the musical supervisor from the Really Useful Group (a.k.a. The Man from RUG).  More precisely, they as ready as the want to be for tomorrow's presentation.  We ran the whole show today, and a good chunk of them weren't trying their best - or just weren't trying at all in some sections.  Very frustrating.  However, after tomorrow morning, any and all changes will be determined by the Man from RUG.  -And we reminded the cast about that fact.  Time to STEP. IT. UP!!!

*It also didn't help that the cruise line's travel office had yet to book the flight for the "missing" male singer/dancer, and it turned out that they booked the "missing" female singer for the 28th of JULY(!?!?!?!?).  Ugh.  -She was supposed to fly in yesterday and be with us in rehearsal today.  Instead she will be arriving sometime tonight.  -Thankfully, she's done the show before, so that will, hopefully, inspire the rest of the cast tomorrow.

Hmm... And I think the dull headache I have right now is from a lack of food.  Suppertime!

It's so warm in my house...and that's neither a good thing, nor a euphemism. :P

So, I'm off for a bit.  I need to eat (I'm going some place air conditioned...and will take my time!) and then get ready for ushering tonight.  It'll be a hoot!! ;D

Have a good day, all!

Back from an errand and a visit to the new location of the Kansas City Barbecue - had a brisket sandwich and, instead of fries, beans.  I think Ye Olde Stomach if finally shrinking because I could barely finish what normally I not only finish easily, but I normally finish a huge portion of fries, and I've been known to have a side of sausage, too.  Not today, Charlie.
