Will DR Barnum list the relevant Bollywood "Singh" list.

(There is probably a well-known Gurjeet Singh - perhaps the one I taught in 1999 is now a famous accountant)

DR elmore3003 - Do you own or have you read any of the Britten journal/letter volumes?  I just ordered them used off Amazon.  Looking forward to dipping into them!

I have all three available volumes, the first two signed by my friend Donald Mitchell, Britten's executor.

elmore, did you talk to Twiggs and Leigh?

I did. Mostly on what they'd been up to, their family, what had been going on since I last saw them around 2001. We laughed until we could laugh no more. She wants to put together a show about Ruth Etting.

I wondered if people referred to "Twiggy" as Twigs etc or if her friends and relatives called her Leslie.

Twigs!

I just happened upon this new story, which happened a few weeks ago in Pittsburgh:
http://kdka.com/local/Rob.Milford.arrest.2.749286.html

This reporter was the very first VeeJay we hired when the Video Music Channel went on the air 25 years ago. And having known him, this story does not surprise me in the least.

Well, it's time for me to leave work and head to Taco Del Mar for dinner! :D They have a punch card that, for every $5 you spend, you get a punch on the card.  When you get 10 punches, you get $5 off your next purchase AND Taco Del Mar sends $5 to Camp Erin!  I'd never heard of this camp/organization before Taco Del Mar started supporting it.  ALSO, Monday is double-punch Monday, so for every $5 you spend, you get TWO punches (on the card ;))!

So, I'm off. :)

Until later!

Thank you all for the continued vibes for my ankle. The vibes worked. It is just a little tender and stiff yet. I am hoping to go hiking early in the morning before I go to the hospital.

So you are expecting the hike to be unsuccessful then?
