Was there perhaps also an ad in the current issue of "The Sondheim Review"?

Ginny and Jane thanks.  The movie helped. It was cute. I wouldn't say it was the best movie I've ever seen, but I enjoyed it a lot and am very glad I saw it.  I went to the 1:30 PM matinee since I wasn't getting anything done anyway. It was me and some parents with kids. There were many times when I was the only one laughing out loud and times when it was just the adults laughing.  It would be fun to see it with a big crowd.

I'm very frustrated with certain members of my family right now.   There was a party that was a surprise party for my dad's birthday, only I was told it was just a solstice party.  Since I'm busy and it requires spending the night, paying a cat sitter etc, I didn't go.   I found out over the weekend that the other guests received handwritten invitations to a surprise party for my dad.  So, I wasn't at my dad's birthday party.

I was surprised after the party that I received emails from some other people who were there telling me I was missed etc.  Saying I'm upset is really putting it mildly.   It's the last straw for me and I was able to tell my brother that this morning.

He said it was a last minute thing....Right, and that's why everyone else got hand written invitations in advance and I got an email 2 days before.

I really don't need this kind of aggravation right now.

Remember Cilla, you always have family here.

Yes, actually, I consider it every year and am seriously considering it this year.  My parents are coming to Sioux City to take me to dinner (well lunch) for my birthday on Saturday, so I thought I'd casually mention that I'm thinking of going to NYC for the holidays.  When do they light the tree? Is that Thanksgiving time?

I'll do one for tomovoz: Jimmy Rodgers - great recording artist and singer of Honeycomb.

Actually the singer of HONEYCOMB is Jimmie Rodgers.

Usually the week after.

*Just remember that the holiday rates here in NYC get truly ridiculou$, so book early!

Yes, I know that too.  I've been thinking of going sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I'm going to check rates. I may not go on the actual holiday if I can get a better deal that way.

One of our favorite trips to NYC was when Richard and I flew in on Christmas Day 1982 and came home on New Year's Day 1983.  We saw 8 shows in 7 days - boy, was it cold standing in the TKTS line!

While cleaning I have also been arranging and alphabetizing my Bollywood DVDs which have been watched....

....it would appear that since my introduction to Bollywood a few years ago, I have watched just around 220 Bollywood films.

I swear, I wasn't looking for this, but while surfing about on other matters, I came across the name

Jonathan Ross, British film critic and, at four and a half million pounds a year, currently the highest paid television personality in Britian.

(Heather Mills probably doesn't like him.  He's blasted her as a liar, and has been quoted saying that he "wouldn't be surprised if we found out she's actually got two legs.")

I wouldn't be surprised if she had three.

I just read HERE that Jai Rodriguez is playing Desi Arnaz:

Four concert stagings of the new musical Dance With Me will be presented in West Hollywood July 10-13 as part of the Festival of New American Musicals.

The musical about the lives of the late Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz will cast "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" host Jai Rodriguez as the Cuban bandleader. Jim J. Bullock, the "Too Close for Comfort" star seen on Broadway in
Hairspray, will also be part of the cast. Complete casting will be announced shortly.

When I first read about this, I thought that they had said who was going to play Lucy, but it's not mentioned in this article.

Jim J. Bullock could do the part.
