Just to cover ALL THE BASES, I am going to name JOHN SCOTT -- and that's for any and every OTHER John Scott that has not been named but has the same name as the ones already mentioned.

Thus...a moratorium is now in effect on the name "John Scott"!

:D
Uh, no.

Der B and I have added an attribution column to the spreadsheet we work with, which is part of why getting the list up is taking so long.  More typing.  That plus you guys are fast today!

But this means that throwing in a name to create a moritorium on that name cannot work any more.  Someone might come up with another specific John Scott, for example, that falls outside the previously posted parameters.  (Don'tcha love alliteration?)

Now, quit distracting me, I'm trying to work here!

Good Afternoon!

And it is looking like it is going to be a "good" afternoon.  At least a better one.  I just got a call back from "them", and it is looking they will be able to resolve the issue sooner than later.  Alas, "sooner" still means a minimum of 3 business days, but that was better than the earlier response of "7 to 10" I got earlier.

-And, yes, I'm being purposely vague.  For now.  ;)

In other news...

Whoopi Goldberg will be stepping in Xanadu for the month of August.  She will be filling in for Jackie Hoffman, thus working together with/opposite Mary Testa.  Hmmm...  That could be fun.  :)
Testa and Goldberg previously Broadwayed togethern in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, didn't they?

My "John Scott" was meant to be an all-inclusive listing for every OTHER John Scott that might be named.

I could "Jim Smith" you into the nut house, but it seems silly.  So would be any other "John Scott" submission, IMO.

However, since there are NO rules....

I believe they did.  Although, Mary Testa may have left the show by that time...

Alas, the IBDB does not have any specific dates for Mary Testa's tenure.

Alas, A/R has nothing to do with this situation.  At least not on my end.  What I am dealing with is a night manager at the hotel in Florida that somehow improperly billed and charged me for my whole two-week stay even though it was clearly listed as "Bill To Company".  -Even though when I checked out, my final bill (at that time) had a zero balance - I didn't even incur any charges for incidentals during my stay.  Apparently something happened during the final part of the billing process after I had checked out, and since it can take a few days for charges to be fully processed, well... I had a very rude awakening this morning when I went to check my bank account balance.  Very rude.  And since I had also written my rent check last week and made a couple of other payments, well...  And since I'm heading down to Florida Wednesday morning, well...  Lots and lots of phone calls over the past few hours.

Thanks, DR singdaw.  I'm just glad that I noticed it this morning rather than tomorrow - when it could have been a much worse situation.  I'm also glad that I've been taking it easy and laying low the past week.  The only money I've spent over the past couple of days has been in cash.  At least I still have a MetroCard!

I shall now be on my way to a work session, but before I go:

Jon Secada

Hopefully no one's done that name, but without a list, who knows anymore.  I've got about thirty names here but I'm sure a few of them have been done and I can't go back looking through nine pages.
