As per our esteemed BK, in his notes:

I've seen "those rules", DR S. Woody.

However, since our own esteemed BK ignores the one about posting frequency (i.e., waiting until someone else posts a name before posting "another" name), I have not felt obliged to consider any of the rules obligatory.

My bad, I guess....but there either "are" rules that are equally applied to eveyrone, or they are merely advisory and non-obligatory.

Besides, I say again:  I don't have the luxury of knowing, in advance, what initials are going to be put into play...and therefore, I cannot cogitate on them pre-initials day and then dole out a slew of names to stun and amaze my friends.

Since I am at work during much of the merriment, I have to do what I can do to add to the numbers.

Do put it to a vote, though, and let me know if you would prefer I don't play this very serious game.

That's a J.R., not a J.S.
Sorry, spaced out there.  Entering this many data entries can do that.

Using the Internet to find names would be a clear violation of the rules.

Using the Internet, or any other resource, to check spellings or to jog a faulty memory that partially remembers something should be permissable, however.

However, since our own esteemed BK ignores them, I see no reason why anyone else should follow them.

SPOILER re: 'DESIGN STAR' on HGTV

Last night's episode of "Design Star"was the last I will watch in the current series.  I've been extremely disappointed, week after week, that the abomination known as Tracee has been given a free pass after ample displays of tastelessness, inability to work with others and having no sense of her own bad behavior/attitude.  That she left last night was too little, too late.

That Mikey V. was the second one they selected to go home last night was a despicable gesture of condescension to personality at the expense of talent and potential.  The two ladies in the final three are the best ones in the competition.  I've seen that time and again, but Matt is no competition for them, just as he is not in the league -- and never was -- of Mikey V., D. Paul or Michael.

Mikey V. put far more effort and talent into that kitchen than did Matt, and I don't think it was a level playing field that "forced" the judges to go on "camera appeal" alone.

Tracee proved what I saw from the start:  She's seriously limited in talent, people skills and personal responsibility.  That they tolerated her for this long says tons about the sad standards the judges have been using.

This current "Design Star", for all intents and purposes, truly sucks.  I can only hope for a better one next time.

End SPOILER
