The first disc in the set also had a theatrical trailer on it, in English, which I also watched.

We post villians, and villians can post!

Well, there you have it -- I killed two birds with one stone (even though it doesn't count -- I need to go back and see who beat me to the Stalin punch)...

Then I skimmed through today's AS THE WORLD TURNS. Yep, the boys were on but in a thoroughly dull plotline.

Thanks DR George.  Craig appreciates the good wishes.

Thank you DRs Singdaw & Jennifer.  I'm waiting for the doctor's office to call back & let Keith know if he can use lubricating drops for the irritation.  Other than that he is very bored.

re: the initials game

I think it should be okay to post a few names in a row. But i personally would prefer it if people (at the beginning of the day) did not post so many in a row.

I find that by the time i log on in the morning there are usually so many pages of posts with most of the names i know.

I agree.

The game should be fun.  But the rule from the beginning is the honor system and that you must think of the name and know what the person does and who they are.  And I think of the initials prior to posting them - that day.  I don't cogitate, I just note people I think of as they come to me - ask Mr. Rothman if I cogitated in the car on our endless versions of this game.  The fun of it is to come up with as many as you can without using other resources - to me that's the fun of the game.  And people here have come up with a whole slew of names that I could kick myself for not having thought of, most especially Jean Seberg!

I read what you say, but I also read what you wrote just 12-plus minutes into the new day after you'd "randomly picked" the day's initials:

Well, I see I have the playing field to myself.  I could do all 130 something names I've thought of, but I won't be mean.  Instead, I'll do ten or twenty of my favorites and a few that I don't think most folks would know.

So, if I'm a bit incredulous that you spontaneously knew 130 names, including the number, just moments after starting the game, well....I hope you can see how doubts can occur that the name was predetermined much earlier.

DR Jane - I'm in kind of a "Que Sera, Sera" mode.  While I do miss the hustle and bustle of my normal routine, I still feel kind of like a walking time bomb.  If it were just the foot surgery, I'd be fine to work, I think, but this other situation still presents a lot of uncertainty.

We'll know more in about 48 hours.

Yep, derWoody, I just looked it up and the Joe Smith I meant is the Joseph Smith Jr. that DR Mark had already posted -- so a delete is in order.
