Margaret Tyzack.  Der Brucer and I saw her opposite Maggie Smith in the final preview of Lettice and Lovage, the comedy by Peter Shaffer.  She's done lots of other things, too, like some film work with Kubrick, but seeing her live on stage as the sensible half of the pair was wonderful.

I love her, and she's been around a long time so I LOVE watching an old movie or TV show, and she shows up.

She's in my very favorite episode of MISS MARPLE (Joan Hickson version) ever: NEMESIS.

Good morning!

Hooray! We got another cool morning here, and I'm getting to luxuriate once again in cool temps and have the house open to fresh air. What a blessing these last few mornings have been!

Marshall Tito----Yugoslav dictator.

I riffed this one off Marshall Thompson.
Technically his name was Josep Broz Tito, Marshall being titular, but I'm going to allow it since he was generally known as Marshall Tito here in the USA.

Actually, DR SWoody White, the very beautiful Marianne Tatum played Jinny Lind in BARNUM with Jim Dale, she also played Anna opposite Yul Brynner, and in the Romberg-Gershwin ROSALIE in concert at Town Hall, Maranne sang my orchestrations of "The Man I Love" and several other numbers.

She married and retired, I believe, and I hope she is well. I was quite fond of her.

Maurice Templesman.  Diamond merchant.  Not married to Jackie O - he was her live-in boyfriend.

None of which you stated when you gave her name.  I had no idea who she might be, other than someone of whom you gave a name.

I just read something I know fans of the TV series LIFE will be interested to know.

When the new TV season begins in late September, NBC is going to run LIFE for a few weeks after HEROES on Monday nights. After it plays there into mid-October, it will be moved to its regular Friday at 10 slot.

Christian Slater's new series MY OWN WORST ENEMY will then take over the Monday at 10 slot after HEROES.
