Awwwwww, DR George, I meant to do the same before I left this morning! I hope he has a great day. I still miss my dad. Every day.

Thank you very much, Larry. :-*

Hmm... They just cancelled the taping due to some last-minute scheduling conflicts... Ah, well... Now to figure out what I want to do with my free evening.

(And yes, I used a preposition to end a clause with in the last sentence... and this one, too! :))

But, I didn't pay to read your words - although that doesn't keep me from annoying commentary. Internal clauses ending in prepositions grate less harshly than sentence enders!

Dearest DR PennyO, thanks for relaying the news about Keith's mother. I send my love and hugs to my Nursie and my deepest sympathy to Keith.

Well, you have to be charged before you can formally plead guilty and a grand jury is a proceeding where you are formally charged. My guess is they worked out a pre-indictment plea agreement and it will be formally entered now that he has been charged.  Just my guess. That happens some places.  Here we would waive the grand jury if we worked out a deal. That may not be the way it works in New York

Actually, DR cillaliz, I believe that's what the ADA told me and I was incapable of relaying it. I got the impression this was all a formality to avoid potential problems down the pike.

*And does anyone have Danise's phone number, just to check in on her?  -I though I had it in my phone, but I don't, and, normally, it would be Jane who would touch base with her.

I usually watch something for fun while I cook and eat lunch, but I went ahead and started up REAGAN which I had watched 25 minutes of last night. I had NO idea it would take all afternoon to get through the rest of the set. I figured I'd have at least half an hour to an hour left to go on to GEORGE H.W. BUSH, but I actually ran 8 minutes past my usual afternoon cutoff point so I could finish.

My goodness, I had forgotten all about Iran-Contra and about the stock market crash. Amazing how much history these DVDs have brought back to memory.

I have GEORGE H.W. BUSH all cued up and ready to play when I go back down. There are bonuses on the disc, so I'm just hoping I can put the set behind me by the end of the evening.

I took dear reader Jeanne's advice and took a jacuzzi - it was nice.  Going to dinner tonight with Mr. Barry Pearl.

I'm heading down now to give optimum amount of time for the last disc in the PRESIDENTS box. I have enjoyed the shows immensely, but I will be glad to see them come to an end.

I can say that I just weighed myself after a few days and have lost three more pounds - for a total of thirteen since I started weighing myself (I might have lost a couple before I started weighing myself).  So, that's nice.  I'm now at my third all-time highest weight - however, the last time I weighed what I do now was back in 1993.  So, I'm on the right road, diet-wise.

Scent Of Mystery will be delivered tomorrow morning - I have to be here when it's delivered, so that may impact my breakfast with Lauren.  I also have to get them stamped and shipped, which all takes quite a bit of time - although when I stamp them here it's no wait time at the post office - I just dump them there.

Mr. Pearl and I are going to Little Toni's this evening.  I haven't eaten anything today, so I can have a nice dinner.
