Back from various and sundried. Never got to ship the packages, which I'll do first thing in the morning. Decided to go to La La's for their double chicken breast smothered in onions and garlic and it was, once again, yummilicious. Then I went down to Barnsdall Park to look at the theater there - it's one of several venues we're looking at to do the Kevin and Sean show. And now I am home and must sit on my couch like so much fish.

We had a delightful evening at 59E59, seeing Summer Shorts 2. The ending of Skip's show made me cry. We found the set very clever and tried to figure out if they were using all the items stored in the cubbyholes.

DR FJL introduced us to Stephanie D'Abruzzo, who was very friendly and gracious.

We heard some of Obama's speech in the taxi on the way home and got here to see the end of it.

Oh, when we were at Cranberry Cafe on 45th St. for a bite of supper I overheard a cute young man having a reunion with a woman who looked like she could have been a former teacher of his. He was telling her that he's about to go into Grease as Kenickie.

I began my evening viewing with a quick scan of AS THE WORLD TURNS. Nothing of any interest whatsoever, and nothing in the previews.

I have now watched 10 of the 12 PERRY MASON episodes in this set. My goodness, it's so startling to see young versions of Jeanne Cooper, for example. One of the joys of watching shows from the 1950s is seeing some folks on the way up and some folks treading water after movie careers (Arthur Franz).

Nice to see folks like Lurene Tuttle and Jerome Cowan and John Lupton.

Scouting around for something to watch (nothing on network of cable movie channels of interest), I found on TCM On Demand the documentary RITA about Rita Hayworth. I'm not sure I ever saw this before, but anyway, I watched the first 20 minutes of it. It's an hour, so I'll finish it tomorrow as I cook and eat lunch.

I'm sure DR elmore will say more about this, but... When the doctors and nurses got his blood work back, they came up to him and asked him to confirm that he has diabetes - "So, you have diabetes, right?" It wasn't really a question. Just a statement. There was no hint of "Did you know you have diabetes?"

It actually provided some great laughs.

Meet on the 54th Street side/entrance - it's less crowded there.

LOL, DR MattH! Because I don't follow AI, your question didn't "resonate" with me. I'm glad I was able, unintentionally and with DR Jose's help, to get it answered for you!

Knowing now who Ace is makes me wonder now if the lady he was talking to was just someone who recognized him from TV. If she was, he was being extremely cordial to her.

Great! The elevators and escalators will be useful, as will places to sit down once in a while. I haven't needed a wheelchair since the day the pins were removed from my toes.
