Raising the Bar (the new legal series has gotten scathing reviews from every site I've visited that reviews new TV.

Thanks for the tip.  I'll leave it set to record but will be quick to turn it off if we don't like it.

DR Ginny-I’m pleased you had such a great visit with your friend.  It feels so good when a reconnection like that happens.

From Vixmom:
Quote
I actually met Vixdad when I was brought to his apartment to play a roleplaying game, Call of Cathulu (akin to Dungeons and Dragons)

I actually finagled the invite  after hearing his voice on my friend's answering machine

What a great story, and so romantic! :D

Good Afternoon!

Well... I've had The Weather Channel on for a bit while I've been re-arranging some things in the kitchen.  -I needed to displace about four six-packs of beer, a mini-keg, and some 2-liter bottles of Coke in order to get to my food... and to make some room for the food that I plan - had planned? - to buy today.

This morning I received a phone call that brought me tears of joy.
My friend called me from the hospital & I was able to talk to her. :D

In the last weeks I’ve shed many tears out of fear for her.  I’m still all choked up I spoke to her, and she sounded good. :)  I pray there are no more setbacks and she continues to improve.
