Marry, I shall not dissert unless
Mary prepares dessert and we
Are all Merry in the desert!

Well, you could propose to Ann-Margret, have Ken Russell stage the wedding, order lots of chocolate and then you could...

marry in the dessert.

Leaves of Grass: A Nude Choral Reading of Whitman's Iconic Song of Myself

SYNPOSIS:

A daring new interpretation of Walt Whitman's most groundbreaking poem, 'Song of Myself', as realized by a chorus of 25 diverse and fully nude performers.

What will they think of next??

Stage perfomers carrying and playing their own instruments?

der Brucer

Or: A production of "The Dante Symphony", by Franz Liszt, with nude dancers recreating scences from the Ninth Circle.

Question for bk - I'm in the middle of "Murder at the Grove" and I'm really enjoying it.  I was thinking back on many of your books the other day and thought how I'd love to go back and read "Rewind" one of these days.  My question is, would you ever write a book of fiction using stories you may have from your years as a producer?

The Lad & Lassie Shop always sends the best cards!

Judging from the title of the store (Lad & Lassie Shop) I could still probably go there to get a pair of shoes (small feet)

Bk, in the notes:

Quote
...the police are not enforcing the law and I think someone should file a class action lawsuit against them for ignoring it.

Well, there is no law requiring the police to enforce laws.

The best you could try for would be a civil action against a City Council, the County Sheriff's department, or the CHP. Next you would have trouble establishing standing - you have not been injured by the non-enforcement. In the bizarre circumstances in which the case could go to trail (it's tough suing governments without their permission) and you should win a victory, as a Tax Payer, you would be obligated to pay for the damage awards plus the court costs and lawyers' fees on both sides. Not such a bright move!

Glad you're enjoying it, and please write an amazon review when you're done - still waiting on Cilla's and Vixmom's and hopefully the vixter's when she finishes.  Having the amazon reviews really helps.

Rewind IS a work of fiction.  At some point, I may go back and revisit the years (and they're not over yet) as a record producer, but the way I'd originally intended - as a non-fiction work.

I've been a-listening to Ricky Ian Gordon’s operatic setting of John Steinbeck’s The Grapes of Wrath.

A downer of a story, of course, but there's some mighty fine music in there.  And much more accessible than some of this composer's previous works.
