My DS and I went for a very early breakfast at Denny's. At another table, a couple of obnoxious men were giving the waitress a hard time. They not only stiffed her a tip, but tried to get out of paying most of their bill (which was under ten dollars anyway).

Who knew he was 63 years old.

We both went to McGill University

But not at the same time.  I think he must have been there at least 2 decades before I went

ONLY 4,346 posts to go to hit the 10, 000! I should do it some time between now and March 13, 2011. Probably closer to the the latter.

Good morning, all! DR FJL, I'll meet you at 12:30 outside 37 Arts, and I'm looking forward to the show and visiting with you.

This morning I've got some shopping for groceries and a bit of proofing on the HUCK FINN. Around 11:30 I think I'll start walking down 9th Avenue to the show. I don't believe I'll walk the entire way, but I'd like to get to 57th Street at least before boarding a 9th Avenue bus.

I haven't watched a complete Emmy Awards show since Powers Booth won a Best Actor Emmy.
I will not be watching tonight.
There is this show on HBO called "True Blood" which I will be watching, though.

Good morning!

I had the longest night's sleep I've had in months, and it was nice. Of course, I'm running behind this morning on things I wanted to accomplish, but it's nice to sleep in for a change, even when unplanned. The continuing cool weather helps.

I will record the Emmys, but I can't spare those hours to watch it live. I'll be continuing with watching CSI: NY episodes trying to get through the box before street date on Tuesday. I should make it easily, but I'll miss the street date for that Danny McBride comedy film and for FRIDAY THE 13TH-The Series which I also have to review.

Thank you, AMC, for not broadcasting a new episode of MAD MEN tonight. With the competition of the Emmys, they're rerunning the "Three Sundays" episode tonight.

So, I have another week to watch last week's show before a new episode is shown. Yay!

Or, if you prefer:

You're young, you're in love, and you kill people.

Take your pick.

I did want to take a second to thank DR Ben for the continuing series of theater views/reviews. Those of us who can't make it to NYC regularly really enjoy living it through your eyes and ears. I hope you will continue to share your thoughts with us about these shows.

I don't normally watch the Emmys, so I do hope we will have complete coverage here at haineshisway.com - the fashions, the faux pas, the winners, the losers, the good, the bad, and the ugly, not necessarily in that order.
