People's level of "notoriety" has a way of abating with the advancement of years.  Of course, those closest to the events remember with vivid clarity the scandals that led to the notoriety.

I remember being scandalized a couple of times in high school.  Less than 5 years later, I wouldn't have skipped a beat learning about the same behavior in someone else.

We either get jaded or "times" change.  But we still remember our "first" exposure to "scan'alous behavior"!


Larry Moore, don't you tell us that you never scandalized anyone!  :D

I think it's only me and DR cillaliz who are watching this year.  I was definitely okay with who went home (it was who i thought would go). In the first weeks especially it has a lot to do with who your partner is and how well known you are (if you have a fan base). Ted simply had a new partner who nobody knew (and who didn't seem to catch on quickly like julianne or her brother). And i just didn't know if he'd have a large fanbase.

I was definitely happy for rocco (right now i think he is one of my favs). Btw, are mario lopez and karina dating cause i happened to catch an episode of sunset tan and they were both on and they introduced her as his girlfriend!

I'm up, I'm up... And so is my left leg. Well, actually it is "elevated".  It's finally feeling almost back to normal, and I'm hoping it is back to normal by this weekend.

The previews ALWAYS seem to be red herrings, though.  I'm thinking that all those tears were "joy".  I cannot fathom Korto and Jerrell and Leanne being levelled to tears over bad critiques.  

I don't recall seeing Kenley in tears....I either missed it or it's a sign of something good!  :D

What was the deal with Nathan and Preston dissing Shazia all through the competition and then throwing her under the bus at the end?

I gathered that they weren't thrilled at having her on the team and that her rep wasn't all that great, but they owed her a voice.

The trouble with that bachelor pad was NOT the curtains/valances.  It was a lack of focus.
