Question one: I'm not that up on what's in development. None of what I know about sounds interesting to me, but that doesn't mean various projects won't end up good or successful.

Related question: I saw The Time of the Barracudas, a tryout, in the mid-sixties. I thought it was great and it never made it anywhere after LA. Part of that was because of its leading lady, Elaine Stritch.

Whew! This workout is really kicking my ass. Pardon my French. At least with the requisite "burn" and "good pain", it's taking my mind off the "stitch" in my side. Which feels "better" for lack of a better qualifier right now.

Well, I just finished my cereal and blueberries, and now I must take my vitamins and get cleaned up. And then project for the afternoon: White Chocolate Cheesecake!

So....has anybody noticed that Bloody George is now attempting to screw the very people who have so ardently supported him over the past two elections?

That's right. The "military" and the "elderly".

His budget severely reduces funding for veterans' health care and medicaid, making it necessary for the veterans and elderly to spend more of their savings, if any, to survive illnesses/injuries.

And that doesn't take into account what it's taking away from educational programs.

Our infrastructure, nationally, is rotting away.

But by all means, let's pour hundreds of billions of dollars into Iraq.

I have just eaten a ~~bowl~~, small plastic "take-out "container, of chicken soup. It purported to be "homemade" but I suspect it was Campbells with soem chocpped up onions and chicken added.....
and it was 'spensive for such a little container - $3.50

The "Natural Turkey" sandwich I ordered to go with it appears to be dried out turkey loaf...blecch!

NOW I remember why I never go in on the office deli order..........that's a humdinger of a lesson I learned

Interesting that BK should mention this because I woke up this morning with a HUMDINGER of a case. Called in sick to work on a most inconvenient day, because I had to cancel a program. A bout of health issues have hit our household this week, starting with DH Richard being summoned to the ER to accompany his 88-year-old mother who was taken there at 1am Monday with chest pains. She's OK (as OK as one can be at that age), but he's been off work now for 2 days with flu-like symptoms (all-nighters in the ER can do that...) and now I have this sinus thing. Have some great pills for the dizziness, but they make me very drowsy.

What I absolutely cannot understand about these so called 'conservatives" is the way they constantly put us deeper and deeper in debt

I still cannot beleive that for the sake of "party unity" those idiots put through the so called medicare reform act which is costing billions more than the old plan, giving less benefits to the recipients and just making the drug companies richer becasue it is now AGAINST THE LAW for the government to negotiate prices with the drug comaony

and the social security nonsense I cannot believe, since I am under 55 I fall into the category of people being completely $%^&&*

Let's forget thatI have already been paying into the system for more than 30 years, and they have already increased my retirement age for full beneifits by 18 months, but now they want to have younger workers
stop funding the sysytem...yeah that'll help it wiork better,,,stop funding it!

Also isn't it interesting he plans for this new plan to start in 2009, AFTER he leaves office?

It took Clinton 6 years to clean up the mess Reagan & Bush Sr. made of the economy and Jr. managed to get us back in the hole in only 9months!!!!
