Compassionate and sympathetic anti migraine vibes to TPunk. Only fellow suffereres can ever understand the feeling. Headaches they are NOT.

Oz is going overboard with the world Cup!

Ghana - I'm sure I have emails from some of the residents who see me as a kindly, trusting soul to be trusted with investment monies etc.

DR François is missing! He had trouble with HHW yesterday I think and also problems with his email carrier.  Perhaps he is watching "Empire of The Sun".
A French Frenzy is called for.

Incisive vibes for DR TCB.

DR MATTH - how could I forget Mr Burton in WHO'S AFRAID OF V.W.?

And so many others mentioned by astute DR's here at HHW.

Of course one of my favorites is MR BK as John Smithee in THE FIRST NUDIE MUSICAL....especially when he demonstrates his own brand of choreography....

I will forward those on, Tom. Much appreciated as this one seems pretty bad.

How about a refinement in which we relay our favorite lines from some of our favorite actors' performances?

"Fill your hands, you son of a bitch!" John Wayne, TRUE GRIT.

"Then some gentleman should be prepared to be very kind to me." Ronald Colman LOST HORIZON.

"Just be careful that you don't shoot the nag instead of the Yankee." Clark Gable GONE WITH THE WIND.

"I'm not trying to brag, but I do allright with girls my own age." John Saxon THE UNGUARDED MOMENT.

"We created Jean Harlow and we are responsible for her care and feeding. The kind of nourishment she needs exists only on paper.  She'll starve."  Martin Balsam HARLOW.

"The day I take you is when you have everything to lose and nothing to gain."  George Peppard in THE CARPETBAGGERS.

Haha! Well, it is nice to help strangers from overseas with their banking troubles when you get a chance.

Kevin finally dropped by at four.  I gave him the DVD to watch, and he'll return it tomorrow.  He did call when he got a quarter of the way through and said he loved it so far.  That was nice to hear.

I'm all showered and shaved and ready for whatever tonight's musical is.  I've already been warned it's two-and-a-half hours long.  But, it's got Sara Rue, French Stewart, and Gregg Henry, so the actors are good.

Gina Lollobrigida was the mystery guest on WHAT'S MY LINE today and that made me in the mood for an Italian film festival...but after this Hercules movie I think I will have had my fill...not that it is a bad movie or anything.

I had a strange thing happen. I was cleaning up from pruning the bushes outside my house and up walked this cat crying and crying. It looks exactly like the cat I was thinking of adopting (socks). I think it's a she, had on a collar that looked brand new and was rolling around on my sidewalk trying to get it off.  She followed me everywhere and wouldn't leave.  So, I finally put some food and water outside  on the front stoop.  She was starving!  I know I probably shouldn't have fed her, but she was crying and crying. I left her outside. I am hoping that the owners find her.  Callie is transfixed looking out the window.  So she may still be there.

If it starts raining and she's still out there, I'm going to let her into my entryway, but I am hoping her new "parents" come looking for her. Or she decides to go home.

My neighbor fosters cats from the shelter, so if the cat sticks around, I'll find out if it's a foster cat and still possible to adopt her. Callie isn't hissing and upset, she's really quite curious

Sometimes it happens. Side topic: Movies you've fallen asleep during at the movie theater (as an adult, let's say. Napping at the drive-in during BAMBI doesn't count).

Me:
BABE, the pig movie
12 MONKEYS

I'm lucky if I can remember a line of dialogue from any movie DR JRand.  I'm likely to confuse "All About Eve and "The Wizard of Oz". .
"Toto fasten your seat belt, I'm melting".

It wouldn't take much for "Smash Up" to be better than "Crash".
