I meant to say that it is cool to know about where you guys in NY are talking about.

I'm just sad that I'll have to miss this falls tour.   :'(

I have to go to the opry alone?  DR MBarnum would faint at the thought of kulcha!

ARRIVEDERCI AROMA - I remember that from the old TV series "On Our Own."  I think Dixie Carter's character said it.

I shall now be on my way to LACC.  If the notes aren't up at midnight, then I'm seeing the late-night musical.

I'm sipping a cup of peppermint tea....soothing, refreshing...and just what I need to unwind a bit from some trying moments with a co-worker.

I don't won't to belabor this issue with you.  Suffice it to say I know when someone is trying to manipulate me and this happened today after lunch.  I stopped a little act from playing out and called it for what it was and said I had no intention of responding to it.

It stopped immediately and we resumed a professional demeanor.

This person is now gone for the day (personal time). I was irritated most of the afternoon...but I'm calmer now.

Here's what I've learned today:

It's a whole lot easier to teach people this grantseeking process than it is to do it yourself.

I wonder if they'll attempt to keep up the fake psychic bit throughout the whole series.  I think that it could get old very quickly.  The guy has very astute observational abilities and I find that much more interesting that him trying to continue the charade.

Keith and I agree.  Does the star remind you of Ricky Nelson?  Maybe you are too young. ;D

I tried to let Boo out again and Callie cornered her under my bed.  I let them try to sort it out, but when it became clear that it was starting to deteriorate, I picked up Callie and Boo skedaddled into "her" room and was ready to be done with that for now.   We'll try again tomorrow.  I am pleased.  We're back on track, I didn't think that would happen

Hmm.. When DR elmore mentioned "kulcha" to DR MBarnum, I thought he was talking about Indian food.

Every night on our bed was a different animal made from towels.  This one was my favorite & the only one there wasn't a dispute regarding its identity.

Yes, he is a little before my time. ;)

But I can see the resemblance.

Fun photos, Jane! Maybe some day I'll get to go on a cruise.

The haboob caused the temperature to drop from 116F to 98F in an hour.

These photos are just teasers.  Next week, (weekends are so quiet shall I wait to post more?), I will have a few more scenic photos.

Cruising Alaska is nice because there are great views on both sides of the ship and less open sea.
