The General with Professor Leder, our happy little housewife's scientist father.  The General won't have the beard for the show.

Oh, my golly BK, those publicity shots are wonderful!

Although a bit more retro make up and hairstyling on the ladies would add to the look and feel, IMHO.

Great pictures!  But as a "married," I'm assuming that (in the show) Kevin will have a wedding ring on his left hand. ::)

Just a photo shoot with thrown-together wardrobe  and makeup, which will all be very different for the show itself.

TWILIGHT ZONE movie spoiler ahead:

The wrap-around stuff with Albert Brooks and Dan Ackroyd from the TWILIGHT ZONE movie really had me jumping out of my seat.  ("You wanna see something really scary?")

I don't like scary movies. I have to leave the room when my son watches one of his movies. He doesn't like monster movies; he likes mob movies with  killings and tortures.

I posted my scary movies a few weeks ago and don't want to be redundant. So here are the Cliff Notes:

Movies that scared me as a child:
Homicidal
Two on a Guillotine
The Day the Earth Stood Still
Midnight Lace
Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte/Baby Jane
Them!

Movies that scared me when I was older:
See No Evil
Don't Look Now
The Tenant

Movies That Scare Me Now:
An Inconvenient Truth
Who Killed the Electric Car
Bush's Brain

WOMAN OF THE DAY AWARD

Proud Witch

Reuters

Laurie Cabot is a proud witch , and she's fighting for her civil rights.

At age 73, the official witch of Salem says her craft is stronger than ever, as she sits in an overstuffed chair behind a pink table where she does psychic readings -- and where, she says, spirits of the dead often "pop through."

In between psychic readings and running a shop that sells everything a witch needs to get started, Cabot is mailing letters to civic leaders across Massachusetts warning them of the legal perils of portraying witches as grisly old hags.

Posters hung on government property of witches as haggard women on broomsticks or as green-faced outcasts with an evil glint in their eye could lead to defamation lawsuits by witches protesting what they see as violations of their civil rights.

"If they don't protect us and take care of us like everyone else, then they could be sued," said Cabot, who in 1986 founded the Witches League for Self-Awareness after the filming of "The Witches of Eastwick," a movie witches said made them look "stupid."

I have landed.  A nice surprise at the Dayton airport was finding my dad and his girlfriend Lucille waiting for me.  He looks good, too thin, but his energy is up and he seems to be doing fine.  I am now at my brother's, visiting with my brother Randy, sister-in-law Jo, and my niece Allison who drove up from Tennessee with her adorable baby Chase to see me.

BK, break a leg with rehearsals.  I love the photos!

I do, however, remember covering my eyes at Dressed to Kill and The Eyes of Laura Mars. Yow!

My little niece is a bit sick. But my sister decided that she would bring her over for Halloween (since they do not get that many kids at their house).
I don't think she will go out (she is only 13 months old). But we do have 2 costumes here (little red riding hood and a unicorn snuggly costume i got last year).

I don't think it will be that cold here (maybe 50F tonight). But it will rain. It's weird but some years it is really cold. And then some years it's been really warm!

Are there also years when it's really "just right"?

Every year is "just right" in Arizona!

And I am very curious to find out what "The Ganch" is.

Elmore - Glad all went well with your flight.

As to the Met and Barber of Seville, based on prices and what was available, i opted for the grand tier next March, when Florez is still scheduled to perform.   Thanks for your advice - much appreciated!
