So true, DR derBRUCER.  This is actually a website "designed" for a college project about a year ago....I said "Don't do it...." but no one listened.  I said, if she is NOT going to maintain it, we will have to know what programs she is using and all her passwords.

No one listened.  And she has disappeared leaving us with a nice website that CANNOT be updated because we can't get into the editing mode.

It IS hell.  We have a temporary website at:

www.worldofwisdomebooks.zoomshare.com

while we work on getting our domain and website BACK under our control.

Since so many musicals are based on films these days---even musical films!---it seems like "The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T" would be a perfect candidate.

Let's put on a show!

I have the requisite humilty and warmth of character to play
Dr. Terwilliker!

Punkenstein and I watched THE ABOMINABLE DR. PHIBES last night on video. Turns out TCM was showing it last night too. Now I want to see the sequel. And I wonder if Vulnavia is in the sequel.

She is, but played by a different actress.

DR RODSZINSKI - due to licensing problems or money arguments, the music on ALL the DR PHIBES vhs/DVD releases is different than the theatrical release.

Imagine the final image of the film being enacted while "Over the Rainbow" plays in the background.....I think that was the song.

Checking IMDB - that MAY have been corrected by now.  :P

Re: HEROES. I guess i'm the only one here who did not get the preview. Since STUDIO 60 was not on this week i watched HEROES on the canadian channel (where they do not show previews). I"m glad, cause i don't want to be spoiled.

I am looking forward to LOST tonight though.

BK, my question:  Who did the back-up vocals on Guess Things Happen That Way...

Backup vocals courtesy of Mr. Grant Geissman, who provided them for any song that has them on the Kritzer CDs.

I've plenty of leftover mushroom gravy saved.  And there's oodles of noodles waiting to be cooked up.

This sounds like a casserole!

Well, the dogs will be happy - lots of leftovers (I HATE intensely dislike Turkey Casserole - second only to that abomination: "Tuna Casserole".

Oh well, I can always make a Turkey sandwich.

Back from a jog and must now do a few errands.

There is a musical version of Dr. T- it's had many readings and workshops over the last eight years, all to no avail.  Can't remember who wrote the score, but I'm having this memory that the lyrics might be by the Sister Act guy - Glen Slater.

Our theatre has 195 seats, five rows - thrust stage...not one chair is 40 feet away from Center Stage....and yet there are people who will NOT speak up and be heard.

Perhaps they're simply being feminine and demure.

BK, I do have a question:  how do I get the companion CDs fro the first two Kritzer books?  I only have the one for KRITZERTIME, since I had purchased the first two books from Amazon.com before I joined the site.  Are any still floating around?

I now have my Stapes, so I'd better work!

Who do you think played the better second tier blonde bombshell....Jayne Mansfield, Joi Lansing, or Mamie Van Doren....and name a role for each that you enjoyed, if any.

There are many ways to enjoy "costumes":

Reuters
Quote
Costumed Disney Workers Simulate Sex in Video

LOS ANGELES (Oct. 13) - The Walt Disney Co. on Thursday said it took "appropriate action" against employees at its Paris theme park who were caught simulating sex while dressed as Disney characters in a digital video that has received wide attention on the Internet.

Disney would not say whether it had dismissed any of the costumed employees featured in the grainy video, which appears to have been shot with a hidden camera at a backstage dressing room at Disneyland Resort Paris.

"The behavior shown on the video is unacceptable and inexcusable," Disney said in a statement.

"The video was taken in the backstage area not accessible to guests. Appropriate action has been taken to deal with the cast members involved."

The video shows Minnie Mouse struggling to free herself as she is grabbed from behind by Goofy and then a giant snowman.

Later, Mickey Mouse simulates sex with the snowman and Goofy does the same with either Chip or Dale, the chipmunks, as laughter is heard on the tape.

The tape is described on the Internet as the "Mouse Orgy."

Especially for JRAnd56 and BK, here is the website to pre-order the new DVDs of GODZILLA RAIDS AGAIN and GODZILLA VS THE THING...original Japanese version plus the Englishe dubbed version...and plenty of extras on each....

http://www.godzillaondvdstore.com/merchant2/

You can only get them at the distributors website (Classic Media), otherwise you have to wait until Feb. for the general retail release.

So if you want them now then you can get them!! Woohoo!

GODZILLA VS THE THING is my favorite Kaiju film! That Akira Takarada just sends me! :D
