Anxious that whoever goes tonight on DANCING WITH THE "STARS", one of my favorites will be eliminated.  I am only unimpressed with one of the finalists....the other three are OK BY ME.

One thing about Liza....she won't give up.  Saw her in concert in the early 1970's....she was formidable....the audience loved her...and she gave back 110%!!!  At least.  Great rapport with her musicians, too.

She was also doing some kind of show in Indy (much smaller venue) years later when her father passed away....and had to cancel.  Steve and Eydie came in a filled in for her....I traded my tickets for something else.

My favorite line from a political ad is "Remember, it's a secret ballot, you're friends won't know you voted for me."

Thank you DR JRand.  More pics tomorrow but alas none of DR TPunk who was off picking apples. (Not a euphamism with which I am familiar).

Unfortunately my photos of Ben and Ant. are somewhat blurry! I'm wondering if DR Jose has some he can share!  Remember Jose?

DR EDISAURUS - in answer to your DH's question....NO, the generation now in High School and College are NOT being taught projection....they are being turned into RADIO performers.

Our theatre has 195 seats, five rows - thrust stage...not one chair is 40 feet away from Center Stage....and yet there are people who will NOT speak up and be heard.

There is one local actress who is very lovely and extremely talented, but she has obviously been schooled for television or film.  I have done numerous shows with her, and even when sharing the stage with her, I have had trouble understanding what she was saying (AND I KNOW THE SCRIPT!).  Sadly, most of the directors she has worked with, locally, are so in awe of her talent; that they let her get away with internalizing every word she says.

Tomovoz - regarding those blurry pictures, didn't Jerry Herman say that things look almost twice as well when they're slightly blurry?  Or was that Bob Merrill who said that?

So, George...are you saying that the same man that came between Hilary Swank and Chad Lowe has also come between Reese and Ryan?

That would make him a major cad!

Damn that Oscar anyway...!!!!

(Although the popular story is that the non-Oscared spouses are consumed by jealousy and/or feeling   emasculated -- look at what happened to Alex Baldwin after Kim won her supporting Oscar....and then ask yourself what, exactly, has happened to or for Kim since then, as well).

The weather people are NOW claiming a winter storm front is moving in.  NOT a big one...but one which will see us peppered by/with rain showers for the next couple of days.

Certainly not when visiting the Barrots of Wimple Street.

I didn't mean to laugh at that, it was just force of Habit.

Where is Wimple Street?  I may have to check with The Rectory Assistance.

Before I forget about it, I thoroughly enjoyed the repeat episode of "The Class" two nights ago.

This was a really funny episode, IMO, and I loved all the reactions to the "note" his friend found that Jason Ritter's character wrote for his ex-fiance.  And later, that scene with her roommate.

"Hewwo, Doctor!  You're a vewy naughty boy."

(Maybe ya had to be there!)

I have roughly one hour to prepare my dinner and get settled to watch "Jericho".

Maybe I WBBL or maybe I'll not.  Depends on how tired I am after "The Nine."

If not...good night, one and all....and for BK...all and one.
