A mere thirty-eight more postings until 22,000 postings.  I think that by midnight tonight is a distinct possibility, if I don't slack off, posting-wise.

After that I pulled MICKEY'S TWICE UPON A CHRISTMAS off the shelf. I've had it for years, but I've never watched it. The widescreen and DTS sound are superb. They've used computer animation as opposed to traditional drawing for the famous Disney characters. I could take that, but I don't care much for the new voices of Mickey, Minnie, or Daisy.

It's a multi-part story, and I only got through the first episode "Belles on Ice," where Minnie and Daisy compete to be the queen of skating. I'll finish it tonight.

Hi all!

I forgot about ecards.  So thanks to the miracle of modern technology, I was able to send Christmas cards that were delivered on time!  Hoo and Ray!

If you didn’t get one, it’s because I didn’t have an email address for you.  Many apologies for that.

The duck looks like it's done.  I'm not sure if I want to try it or not.  I think I would rather have Bruce's sauce.

It's Christmas morning in the land of OZ. It will be our coldest Christmas day here since 1939. (No! I don't remember it - I was elsewhere).  We have had blessed rain over night and today. Wonderful for our fire fighters who are still out there in the wilderness battling to save life and property.

Have a wonderful festive season one and all.

Gee, it's getting ready to rain here as well.

I'm glad for your rain, DR Tom, I hope it puts all the fires out.

I'm taking it that rain is just liquid snow.

I have to go mash the 'taters and heat the corn up in the old microwave.  I'll let you know how the duck was.

Rain makes a pretty darn good Christmas present, Tomovoz. Especially since I'm sure you have all been praying for it!

I have my long national nightmare of Christmas gigs (two already this morning, with two more tonight and two more tomorrow), so I will take this opportunity to wish everyone

[move=left,scroll,6,transparent,100%] A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! [/move]

Have my other usual Sunday chore to do now (clean the bathrooms; already did laundry), and I'll listen to Christmas music while I work.

Then, back to some holiday viewing.

Spaghetti sauce is simmering now - slow cooking.  I'm watching Pandora's Box and cleaning.

And in the oy the guilt deparment:  my current church gig this morning took special time out of the service to thank me for everything I've done musically for the congregation during Advent.

I shall now be phoning Jane to arrange our Sherlock/BeeGee/Blanche "playdate" tomorrow.  Pictures will hopefully ensue.

Make beautiful music, JMK!

Was this the church you are leaving that praised you today?

Yes, it's my current church gig that was so laudatory today, hence the guilt.  :)

Doggie playdate is now planned for Tuesday morning, so hopefully we'll have lots of extremely cute pics to share with y'all then.

No, I just got the offer and I don't want to ruin their Christmas (assuming that my leaving would ruin it, LOL), so I won't be giving notice until next week.

Well, Bear and Sheena loved the duck.  I took two bites and that was all I wanted.  Mom said she liked it but I don't know if that her being nice
I guess I'm just a regular meat and tater type.  I should have stuck with what I was going to make in the first place--roast chicken.  I was trying to be different. Sigh.
