It happened about eight weeks ago, and I was able to play piano even when I had the gauze dressing on for two days.  In fact, some of the cast members commented that I still sounded the same - consistent - while I was playing the tech rehearsals.

I’m so relieved, you had mentioned this to me but when I read your earlier post I thought you had injured yourself again.

DRLaura-It was nice of your aunt to show how much she appreciated your letters and cards. :)

Jennifer-You really are a wonder at finding bargains.  Your coat sounds lovely.

Damn Sony!  There are a few tracks from the albums, like the history of popular song, that never made it to the CDs and I loves Ms Russell!
"a square talk on popular music or the decline and fall of the popular song" is on "Anna Russell - Again".  is that the one DR Elmore?

Sherlock had multiple new experiences this holiday.  We stayed in the beautiful 5th Avenue Suites where staff and patrons gave him loads of attention.  He had his first elevator ride which he wasn’t too keen about but tolerated it.  He did much better on the street car.  He really was great during the trip, went shopping with us, including Williams-Sonoma, & was an angel at Bryan’s place.

City living is tough for dogs, not much grass so Sherlock often decided the street was the appropriate place to stop.  Thank goodness he only did that when there wasn’t much traffic.

This morning he had a great time playing with those total sweeties, BeeGee and Blanch :D

Zach asked if Sherlock was gay.  Keith volunteered that he was.  :)

Keith and Jane were somewhat more reticent to discuss Sherlock's foot fetish:

You'll notice a certain family resemblance between Sherlock and Zach.  :)

Here's BeeGee moping in the kitchen that not only does he have to contend with "that stupid little black dog" (Blanche), now there's "the exotic multi-colored dog," too.

She might have well shouted the news across the room instead of waiting to quietly whisper it to me, it would have been less embarrassing than to have the photo posted. ::)

Of course Keith also had a good laugh at my expense.  ;D

BeeGee was very, very good with Sherlock.  I wish they could play together more often.

Betsy is entirely guiltless in the posting.  She just walked in and shrieked in horror at my bad manners.  I'll delete it.

JMK, if you didn't delete the photo all together, email it and Keith can fix it with Microsoft digital Image, or whatever it's called.

We are not deleting any open-zipper postings.  They are too few and far between, if you ask me.  It's not like we could see her UNDERPANTS or anything.

Well... The trumpet player got sick yesterday, Christmas Day, with a touch of the flu...  So did the french horn player...  As did the first violinist/concertmaster... And the percussionist...  Thankfully, they were all healthy enough to come in for tonight's show - and they all sounded "healthy" to me.  -And, no, they do not all live together.  ;)

I'm hoping another day of rest will help them all recuperate.

-And the kicker to this 'sick wave' - the conductor's wife came down with something this afternoon... Hmm... Could be an interesting final week of the run.

*However, all of the actors are in good health.  Whew!  <knock wood>

I have a feeling I know which "insufferably bad motion picture" you're talking about, BK.  Unfortunately, it only goes downhill from the opening credits.  :-\

As for Airborne - I like it.  I just wish it hadn't gotten so relatively expensive over since it's popularity started to rise.  However, I usually stick to doses of Emergen-C, twice a day, during cold and flu season.

As for Zicam - That whole 'tasteless' syndrome is sort of an anomaly.  However, there are still those documented cases where people have lost their sense of smell from consistent, continuous use of the nasal swabs.  But since smell and taste are very much intertwined... Hmm..  But I've used Zicam too, and it's always worked for me.  I like the Allergy formula.
