These are the first shows on any network that have been given the official go-ahead for next season. I'm sure the other networks will be following suit with their hits in the next few weeks.

And yes...apparently Matt's parents didn't come because they don't support his singing ventures due to much money already having been spent on same.

TomovOz speaks truth...not poor American version of anything.

The Beatles spawned unending groups of mopheads doing the Carnaby beat, etc, etc. In America, in England, everywhere.

The Monkees were put together for a TV Show...pre-packaged as TomovOz said, just like The Partridge Family was....only The Monkees really did their own singing...and went on tour...and cut albums...and had hit songs/albums.
