I am all alone here!

So....time to post some photos!

Last weekend Dog Bosco and I went to West Linn to visit my friends Mark and James and so that Bosco could meet his new cousin, Herbie.

Here is Mark with their new bundle of joy, 11 week old Herbie...

I feel less elusive and disillusioned.  Perhaps delusional.

I finally signed off on a report after maybe 25 drafts, and it's ready for the printer.  Yay and hooray!

Now for the others I have to complete.  Oy!

Alas, that won't hinder my posting of photos.

Here is Herbie's other father, James (Herbie has two Fathers...that is the name of my next children's book).....

DR MBarnum, you're always alone; it's the human condition.  That's so existential!

Here we are trying to get a nice family photo. Mark has his hands full with Herbie, but Digger and Dog Bosco are ready for their close-ups.

The Topic of the Day:

Amelie
La Cage Aux Folles (literally, The Cage of Fools)
Drôle de Félix (a.k.a. The Adventures of Felix)
The Return of Martin Guerre
The Umbrellas of Cherbourg

Other French films that I like are "The Triplets of Belleville" and "King of Hearts" (which have already been mentioned) and "Stavisky" (with a score by Stephen Sondheim)!

I'm off to work to make up a few hours.  After that, I'm working concessions for a performance by Ladysmith Black Mambazo!  I don't doubt that it'll be a full house!  When working concessions, I don't get to see the whole show, but they have the music on speakers in the lobby.  I can pop in every once in a while, but if I'm ushering, I ususally would get to see the whole show.  Oh, well...it'll be a fun night, either way. :D

Sorry for correcting you, DR George but La Cage Aux Folles is The Cage For Queens and not fools as in crazy!

And I did comment on the Clive Owen film yesterday; thought that Julianne Moore was wasted but I enjoyed most of it.

No wonder, judging (pun?!) from what might be the offer in US movie houses!
