I'm hoping we get neither the USA nor the UK show here.  We have no viable market for musicals! I doubt any show has covered costs here in the last decade except "Mama Mia".
Even the "Lion King" machine could not make $$$ here.

I'd avoid a film with that Mumbling guy too!

For Maria Schneider - watch "The Passenger".

Some peope find it a bore - I found it (Find it) a work of Art. Rich and intriguing.

Should I watch La Dolce Vita tonight, or Last Tango in Paris?

"La Dolce Vita"  *Do you have that newish fancy-schmancy box set?

Although, if you've been craving butter, "Last Tango in Paris" will undoubtedly help curb those cravings.

OK, I know he mumbled because he had cotton in his mouth for The Godfather.  What did he have in his mouth that made him mumble in Last Tango?

On second thought, don't answer that.   :-\

The Fellini!  Last Tango is one of the biggest bores I ever sat through.
I found it worse than just boring, disliked it intensely.

Well, there's only two explanations as to why she wants people to think she has no experience - 1) she's been asked to do so by the producers of the show, or 2) she's not telling the truth and is trying to be manipulative.  If it's the latter, someone is giving her bad advice.  Guy Haines doesn't sing with amateurs and BK doesn't hire them to sing Japanese horror movie songs.

I would imagine maybe it's #!. Because there is no way that the producers do not know that she was millie.

But i'm also not sure why they would want to downplay the experience. They have played up austin's HAIRSPRAY experience. And even Jason C (who was in ALTAR BOYS) tonight mentioned it in his bio piece.  Plus Laura mentioned she was starring as Sandy in Minnesota.

Discussion of tonight's GREASE YOU'RE THE ONE THAT I WANT, INCLUDING SPOILERS.

spoilers

As for tonight's show, i'm not sure what to make of the judges favorites (they each had to pick their favorite danny and sandy of the night).

I will say that i was not overly impressed with any of the dannys.  I like chad and max. Although max's bio piece was a real turn off. He basically said that he's been fired from 13+ jobs in the past 2 years because he's no good at any of them (that's how you want to promote yourself??) But i still find that he really gets into every song and acts his heart out.

As for the twist, i really do like ashley A. a lot. She has the right look for sandy and she exudes star quality. But she is by far the weakest singer. And she was the only female to truly falter tonight. I hope that she doesn't go home this week because i would like to see if she can improve. I suspect she will be sort of popular with the public. But my gosh they took a huge risk bringing her back. She is the only one of the sandys who is no where near ready to star on broadway. Not even close.

My favorite sandys were probably kathleen (church girl) and juliana.  I was most impressed with kate's singing. I like her voice, but i'm not crazy about her.

If i had to get rid of one this week it would be allie. She sings okay. But i just don't think she has a strong enough presence.  But i think the one who blew it tonight was ashley a.

Oh and Ballerina ashley did not do it for me tonight. I really liked her a lot in past weeks. But i did not like her performance or how she sang tonight at all.

As for the dannys. I think matt (jock brought back) was the weakest. But if i had to get rid of one it would probably be Kevin. I also did not care for derek too much.

What i really want though is to start seeing them paired up.  Because we really need to see the chemistry. A bunch of them are good singers. But what really matters is how they go together.

But didn't even Jason C. mention ALTAR BOYZ as if it were some little tiny production with just these five guys, downplaying that it was a high profile job in a major high profile off-Broadway show?

Yah i guess he did. I mean at least he mentioned it.  Although he didn't have time to elaborate.

The thing about juliana though is that i think that if people knew she was millie then they would like her more.  Knowing that she could carry a huge show like that would make me think she could actually be sandy.
