HAPPY BIRTHDAY EDISAURIS!!

WEEKEND BIRTHDAYS ARE THE BEST, HAVE FUN!

You are absolutely right! And I am going to sleep in tomorrow...hurrah!

DH and I went to see Ed Gerhard, an amazing guitarist, play in a very cold warehouse. He have seen him before, and it was a small, enthusiastic crowd and everyone got to talk with him. I talked to him at intermission and told him how I had been yearning for several years now to hear him played his Weissenborn guitar again. He played it for most of the second half, which thrilled me to bits.

This is a guitar which was made in the 1920's and copied over and over again. Ed is working with a guitar company in Oregon to make the definitive Weissenborn-again. (His is falling apart and he's going to retire it.)

A wonderful but cold concert. I wonder if Ed's hands were freezing and if he needed a heated computer mouse to keep them warm between songs!

Thomasville dog trainer Heidy Drawdy will take the two-year-old German shepherd, now named "Hero," to see if he's cut out for the job.

Hero's previous owners had signed him over to the Thomasville-Thomas County Humane Society shelter because he kept wandering off.

It's Heidy Drawdy time!

Maybe he wasn't wandering off. Maybe he was just looking for more heroic acts to perform.

Well, Notes or No Notes, I shall wish Edisaurus a very Happy Birthday!

What I wonder is: how did you know it was my birthday *without* the notes?

Invite a moose to dinner - his body heat should take the chill off a small room.

That made me LOL!

PS: The DVD was released by the same company that is releasing DR Edisaurus's movie. They have pretty good taste in films I think.

We like to think so! And they have been extremely supportive so far!

If only they could find a theatre in Atlanta to screen our film!

I am now going to hit the hay, even though it's tempting to try and make a page of me!

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes on my first HHW birthday...you made today very special for me!

I don't see it, but I think I will just continue to assume that derB is psychic.

I'm unfamiliar with the tune. Can you hum a few bars?
