DR Dan(theMan), I am okay, thanks for asking. I've sat with him and held his hand, he's aware that I'm here and he heard me tell him how much I loved him, for which he reciprocated by squuezing my hand.
My sister-in-law Jo Ann has become very close to him, taking him to and from appointments and errands, and she's a pillar of strength during all this. My brother Tom came by last night and stayed about an hour, but I think he's a bit rattled over the whole procedure. I'm giving myself up to it entirely, going with the flow, trying to help as much as I can, and trying not to let Lady Macbeth's conscious attempts to turn trivia into major catastrophes. She's already stirred up one this morning.
