What I want to know, re: all the red food coloring:  Does it manifest itself in any way AFTER you've consumed it?

Does it stain the teeth, the tongue?

Does it alter the color of anything the body rids itself of...later?

Have you ever read CUJO?  That was enough to turn one off of red food coloring.

Oh, I forgot one other thing on my DVR:

COQUETTE, the 1929 talkie that won Mary Pickford an Oscar for Best Actress. I've often read that this is the worst performance ever awarded an Oscar, and I'm going to be anxious to see it for the first time. Sad to say, it may not be today.

I've never noticed any staining of my teeth after eating a slice of Red Velvet Cake.  -Unlike the dark stains that red wine inevitably leaves on one's pearly whites.  *Always have your picture taken at parties BEFORE you have the red wine.  Smile!  ;)

As for the "after effects"... I don't think I've noticed anything there either. Of course, I'm not sure I've looked.

However, there are some red velvet cake recipes that use beets for the red coloring...  And I know that sometimes after eating beets.... Well... 'Nuff said.

I love this movie DR MattH! I saw it some years ago and was very taken with the film...although by today's standards it is very creaky and melodramatic...but if you are in the right frame of mind you may enjoy it.

Yes, DR Elmore3003 slept through my phone call...how rude!

Of course he often dozes off when I am chatting with him. I get that a lot.

So other people doze off while you're chatting with them too?  Or just DR elmore?

-Well, maybe if the median age of your interviewees/adorees was not twice your own, they wouldn't nod off so much.

Hmmm... I believe I've developed a slight cold.  I've been sniffly all morning.  -I think I just need to get out for a bit today and walk around - even if it is cold.

When the recent movie remake of "The Hulk" was released, either Hershey's or Nestle's had a chocolate syrup tie-in where, when you added the (normal, brown-looking) chocolate syrup to milk, it turned your milk green.  It was on sale and I bought a bottle.  However, I didn't just add it to my milk, I sometimes just ate it right out of the bottle, or poured it onto a spoon.  I never got green teeth and my tongue didn't stay the greenish brown color for very long but just let me say that the human body digests the green food coloring as a food and not a liquid! ::)

The ad I saw was for "Windows Vista" -- simply AMAZING!

I saw that commercial...it was great, even in non-HD

MBarnum, maybe you have to wait until street date on amazon, although that seems odd.  I'll go nose around.

Oh...MBarnum, you mean a link to actually review the item.  I looked and couldn't find that either.

I am very pleased this morning, first my tax refund was deposited in my checking account and second, when I checked the Dell website for the status of my new office computer it said it has arrived in Sioux City and is out for delivery!!!  I may get it today after all.  Since it will be delivered to the office, if not today then I have to wait until Tuesday

Tomorrow I'm going to my parents house. Tomorrow night we are going to see my niece, Samantha, in Little Shop of Horrors at the community theater at the lakes. I'm really looking forward to seeing the show.

Good morning dear Esteemed, written, waxed, met, eaten, remembered, and delicioso BK --

Well (as you can obviously see) I got my desk put back together and my laptop hooked up, so I can pop in here to the Living Room and say Huzzah to you, and to the assembled and lovely H/Ks.

2 days of filming PSAs at the house is intense, hectic, and messy.  But it was a nice and considerate production company, and they left everything in very good shape, put everything back where I wanted, and arranged to have the entire house cleaned by 2 persons this coming Monday.  They also left a very nice check, for which I am very grateful!  I have some pics from the shoot which I'll post here over the next couple of days.

Does anyone know of another website besides Triton (or eBay) that sells theatre posters?

My "Brain" CD arrived, and I've really enjoyed listening to it and having the fun of the show in my head, all over again.  At the very end of the Opening title song, when the final "stinger" chord hits at the last, I can't help myself from doing the "Kimmel hands" pose of shock and fear..... even in my car.  I got a very strange look from a lady in a car next to me last night !!

Thanks for such a terrific show, and CD !!
