My reaction to The Brain Tap was strongly colored by my previous Cabaret experiences.  A performer by the Name of Rudy DeLaMour (Chicago in summer, LA area in winter) used to do an "audience participation" version of 42nd street which involved all the audience members tapping quarters on the bar and tables. (Same gimmick was used for Mack and Mabel - Tap Your Your Troubles Away)

DR George - I love the Capitol Steps!  They performed for a library scholarship fundraiser I attended in Washington, DC, right before the first inauguration of GW Bush.  Have fun and tell us all about it later.

I've been home since about 9:30, but I wanted to watch this past Wednesday's episode of "Medium" and an episode of "Oprah."

Anyway, I was working concessions for the Capitol Steps show, so I didn't get to see the first 25 minutes or so (of about 90), but when I did get in and started watching, it was hysterical!  I saw them the last time that they came to Olympia and I didn't think that they were very funny...but some of the other ushers did, so I'm sure that I just wasn't in the right frame of mind, then.  Anyway, tonight they were really good!  There were five singers and one (very attractive) pianist and it was just one song or monologue right after another.  It never stopped until it was all over and the audience (a full house!) loved just about every minute of it.  A good time was had by all. ;D

The scores to Stages and The Brain From Planet X are polar opposites.

There was no way to really make The Brain Tap work on CD - we did our best, but it absolutely brought the house down every night because of what the audience member did and all the business that's not on the CD.

Notes are written and will be up on time, in about ten minutes.

And I expect I would enjoy Brain more than Stages as a live performance.

PSYCH was a new episode, however, and Sean and Gus investigate the stalking and attack on a female tennis player. Good mystery with a surprise guilty party.

I watched a couple of episdoes of "Psych" a couple of days ago (or was it yesterday??) and I still have three more to go.  I really like this show, but it seems to be one of those that I specifically need to make time to watch.
