Tom, I hope that Rescue Remedy works as good for your dog, Fosca, as it did for Bear.

I had never heard about it before talking to that lady at the dog park.   It's rather expensive--I don't pretend to know the money exchange but it was $15.99 for 20 ml here.

My vet also gave me some pills for Bear that don't work.  He'd still run around barking his head off.

Like your other dog, Magnus,  nothing bothers Brandi except not being fed.  I rarely mention her because she doesn't do anything.  Bear is Mr. Personality.

Poor Brandi, I got her at an animal shelter and they told me she had been badly abused.  At first, she didn’t  want anything to do with any of us.  I just left her to herself and after a few years (yes, it took at least 2), she started to want to lay at my feet and then she  started barking in a protective way, like she finely said this is MY house too and I want to guard it.

Bear is my Walmart special.

Tuna salad.  Ugh.  Chicken salad.  Yum.

We just finished our dinner.  Good luck for the year is now assured.  Whoopie!

ha ha. Thanks for that :)

I thought I was doing what I did before (taking a pic from my disk and selecting properties and copying the link) and then hitting the image button. I will try again.

Jason: I think Noel was just stating an opinion, not criticizing your posting the phote.

What in tarnation is a phote?  I'm thinking about food now, and perhaps when I've decided what I want I'll take a phote of it.

I thought, and still do, Jason was making a joke-I laughed. :)

Snow, Snow, Snow!  It won't be long before we'll all be there with snow.

I've never seen it--live and in person.

Lovely picture, DR Jane.

Thank you.  I feel as if I’m living inside one of those old fashioned snow globes.  Wish you were here.

You must put the photo somewhere on your computer first - not link to the disc, if that's what you're doing.  Once it's on your computer, all you have to do is hit browse and find it and click "open" and it will put the proper info in the box.  Then just hit post.

SS you are a natural cheerleader and thanks for the fashion tips.  I had better not gain any weight or my jeans will be too tight & I shall be out of fashion.

Jay, matzo balls are fattening.  Not the best food for someone on a diet.

MBarnum you are so sweet.

Jennifer, I hope you go back and delete those posts that have no pics (just X's) in them.

Or will that disappoint bk to lose a number of posts? I just thought they were taking up unnecessary space, but maybe not. Sorry.

Or she can "modify" them so the pix can appear.  Either way is fine, and it's also fine to leave them.  Everything is fine.  Fine is everything.  Sylvia is Fine.  Fettle is Fine.

That is a beautiful snow picture, DR Jane, but that's the only snow *I* want to see this year. I really don't like the stuff, but since I don't have to worry about school being canceled or driving through it to get to school, well, I guess I should be happy for those who DO love it.

Nice picture Jane, is that your backyard? I wonder if you are on my brother Allen's Fed Ex route? He does Ashland, mostly the countryside. He loves it because he is a real country boy!

I like the snow today, but tomorrow will be a different story as I need to do my grocery shopping and buy some stamps to mail my bills...which means driving in the snow, which I hate!

Now if I were still a kid, I would be having a blast! My cat Freddy is enjoying romping around in the snow, but it almost buries him as it is pretty deep!

Danise, you have never seen the snow in real life? I cannot believe this! It really is beautiful!

Great new pic, Matt!

Lovely photo, Jane.

To sound more up from my previous posts, I shall describe (in honor of Jose) my dinner last night.  We went to a lovely little place a few blocks from our house.  Great food, and the chef hugs us everytime we come in--- that sort of place.

I had a lovely pate witha wonderful spicy mustard sauce on the side, cornichons (of course).  I wish I could remember the herbs, but it was all delightful (and the leftovers of which made a very nice lunch).

I had one of the specials which was halibut sauteed in a ginger sauce with mushrooms and served over bok choy.

For dessert, a lovely Grand Marnier crême brulée.

It was a leisurely early dinner with DRMusicGuy and a dear friend visiting from Illinois.

So, is this more positive than the grim posts of mine from earlier? :-\

Thank you, DR Kerry. So many others have been changing their pics lately that I thought a different pose from the same sitting would be a relief.

Does anyone else remember those three MUSICAL COMEDY TONIGHT specials Sylvia Fine (Kaye)  did on PBS a couple of decades ago? The first one was, for me, the best one, especially her raves about COMPANY and seeing Richard Chamberlain (playing Bobby) singing "Barcelona" with Bernadette Peters.

Has anyone ever played a game called Speed Scrabble??  I'm not sure, since this family claims to have invented it.  The way it works is, the tiles are spread in the middle of the table, and every player starts with 7, like usual.  When the game starts, every played flips over his or her letters and makes a mini-scrabble board, connecting as many words as they can until all 7 tiles are used.  The first person to finish yells "Tile!"  and everyone has to pick another tile from the center, and make another complete word set...this continues until no more tiles are left.  The first person to finish wins.  It's actually a really fun game!  Doesn't work well with less than 3 players, though...

I certainly remember Musical Comedy Tonight - it's a shame they don't put it on DVD, but I'd imagine the rights situation would be a nightmare.

Food is finally ready to eat so eat I shall, whilst watching Auntie Mame.

Nope, MBarnum, never seen it.  I even missed it the one time it sorta snowed here in Tampa.  I had a really bad cold and took some medicine that had me out cold.

All I have is a vage memory of my Mom trying to wake me up.  "It's SNOWING!" she said and I'm like, "Errrrrr.  Sssnnnooowww.  ZZZZZZ. " snore and went back to sleep.

By the time I woke up, it was all gone and I was mad as wet hen.  "Why didn't you WAKE me UP!?!".  "I  tried but YOU wouldn't get UP!".  The story of my life.  What can I say?  Sigh.

Kerry, that's why I let her choose her own time to come to me.  I didn't push. She's laying to right of me at this moment and Bear is the the left.  I feel well protected.
