AAARRRGGGHHH!!!  I thought that I would be going to bed shortly after the new notes were posted, but NOOOOO!  I have to go to the store! >:( Why do I have to go to the store?  I'll tell you why I have to go to the store.  I have to go to the store because I have been wearing my contact lenses all day.  That in itself isn't enough reason for me to go to the store, but when I was just about to take out my contact lenses, I discovered to my HORROR that I have no more contact lens solution! :o I can't sleep with my contact lenses still on my eyballs, so I have to go to the store NOW and get some new contact lens solution so that I can take my contact lenses off of my eyeballs, place them in the new solution and be able to sleep.  DAMN.

Fortunately, there are a couple of 24-hour grocery stores close by, so it won't take too long.  And I'm still fully dressed...other than my shoes and socks. ::)

So, on that note (crap-flat) let me just say good night, all. 8)

In my dreams.

Speaking of which, I'm going to go try and have some.

Hello, DR Edisaurus!

Just wanted to quickly post this on my way to work:

You can enjoy the Sondheim Simpson's clip with an investment of only a minute and a half:

I had another dream. It involved two babies that I didn't seem to care much about and a big mess mixing that powered formula that got all over my stove that they wouldn't consume, anyway. I woke up and fretted about those babies that don't exist. I finally just got up.

And this is why I don't like dreams.

Good morning, all!  Another copy day and a trek to 27th Street for a couple of hours.

Nothing else to report.  P'raps later.

Good morning DR TOMovOZ!

Welcome home vibes to DR CILLA LIZ.

And Broadway rehearsal vibes to DR JOSE.  I like Kander/Ebb, of course, but I never did like THE SKIN OF OUR TEETH and so I am not that excited about a musical version of it.....but that's just me.  Lots of people like the play.

I was informed yesterday that they have planned a board meeting today with someone from the District. I am not amused. I had planned to destress today. Grrrr.

DR LAURA - those babies are unfinished projects you are working on that you are attempting to get going - after a few false starts you are not sure that you want to try again....but you will.

I love the play.  I just don't think there's a musical in it: Bernstein and Comden & Green couldn't do it and he's the only composer I can think of with the chops to find equivalent musical choices to match all the dramatic parody and styles in the original play.  It should have been a comic opera by Offenbach.

MR BK - since you have the Lucy-Desi set, you might take 48 minutes and watch the Danny Thomas episode.....Lucy loses her voice and has to pantomime her testimony to judge Gale Gordon.

Skip is off to his first day of jury duty, so our household was up a bit earlier than usual.  (His reading material for the day is, i believe, the lovely Christmas gift that Larry gave him.)

It just dawned on me that because of my recent adventure, I will probably not have to be on a jury in the future.
